Don’t get me wrong, I still like my maverick. It can do a lot more than my old Prius V. I work in construction and this can haul sheets like champ and still get great MPG. Just wish it’s more reliable. Any day in the shop is days I can’t work
2022 hybrid 47k miles. Shakes when accelerating from 0, especially on hills. Dealer replaced both cv axle under warranty. I see lots of people having this problem, this needs to be a recall. I also got the seat belt issue and 12v battery problem. They need to work on their qc. My last Prius...
Thank you. I just called the dealer. They told me they will charge a $280 diagnostic fee if it turns out not covered under this recall. I have a feeling they will say it’s not. Is it universal at all dealer? Mine says rear belt fault and I feel like they will just say it only covers drivers side…
I see a few thread about this fault alert on the dash. Someone mentioned dealer replaced the driver buckle and fixed it. Mine is out of warranty this Feb so I wonder if anyone has tried to fix this themselves? I was hoping its just a lose connection. My airbag is still on.
Thanks
I had my 2010 fusion hybrid util 2022 and about 150k with zero issues. The hybrid system is very reliable. It’s the same as Prius. It might have other electronic problems but I think drivetrain should last 200k easily
If only my dealer is this efficient. I spent 4 hours there for the first two free changes and I have to drive for 15 mins to get there. For me; changing my oil actually saves time. I can finish and rotate tire under 40 mins. Maybe when they can do the pick up and drop off for oil change, I’ll...
We actually did a study on this during my graduate class for my engineering PhD degree. Several factors,
1. the Atkinson cycle efficiency is directly related to ambient temp and engine temp. When ambient temp goes down, it reduces efficiency.
2. Wind tends to be stronger in winter. And drag is...
I just use tie down when I haul long stuff. Most building material like sheet goods are 8ft so it won’t work for me anyway. Tie down is slower but takes no space and much more secure
I hope mine will last till my cybertruck arrives. I like my hybrid. I’m a general contractor and this suits me fine and can do all the hauling I need. Most of large material and equipment are delivered on site anyway
It’s shake. I know the lane keeping warning will vibrate the steering wheel but this is def more violent and different. I can’t really reproduce it either
I only experienced it twice when I just left my home at around 30 miles. I feel the car shaking for 2 seconds and then everything is back to normal. I saw this on f150 before but don’t know if anyone experienced it too
Isn’t there a recall for the harness? I already fixed mine before the recall because it died for no reason. But have been trouble free for 20k miles now. Mine is hybrid xlt very early version. Got mine on 2/2022
I used to have a class in ecvt. Toyota developed it but I think ford also participated or bought the use of it. But overall, it has min moving parts compared to other transmission and it’s very reliable. That’s why there are so many Prius past 300k
