I am a 12/28 Granger XL ecoboost hitch order....blue....No vin for me. Just called Ford customer service 3:15pm est 6/30 and they said no vin yet. There is never a rhyme or reason for how this stuff comes out...

3:30 est, Just called Ashleigh at Granger, and she gave me my VIN with a build week of Aug 29. :)
See?! It’s never over until it’s over…

For those not scheduled, you won’t know for sure until final MY22 scheduling on August 4.

FWIW

I called Matthew at Ford Customer Service, and he was able to identify my Granger order.
Super nice dude, btw.

XL, EB, AWD, cabin inverter, basic tow. Velocity Blue
After the March email from Ford, I did drop 4k, CP360, and was forced to loose the rear sliding window.

Granger order date: 1/3/2022
VIN presently known: 6/30/2022
Build date assigned: 8/29/2022

Hey Brother its all good. I plan on gluing in a used junkyard windshield in, and doing control arm bushings on the HHR so it'll pass safety inspection, then I'm gonna keep it as a spare beater. I only costs me $200 a year in liability insurance. A replacement turn signal switch is like $16 on evilbay and about an hour to replace. When it gets really bad enginewise, I will junk it, but for now it will be kept and relegated to official "shitbox" status. It should last a lot longer now that when my new maverick comes in, I will probably use the "shitbox" maybe once a week, and to run weekend errands where I need to park at Walmart, Sam's etc. This will amount to putting maybe 3,000 miles a year on the Maverick since it's only 9 miles each way to work. I only work 10 hour days, 4 days a week.

Not likely. because they cannot build what you ordered, they are probably going to offer your 23 at 22 pricing, just like with the Broncos, and Granger has agreed to honor the $3000 off MSRP deal on 2023 rollovers. You honestly have nothing to lose. Get a brand new 2023 at 2022 pricing and $3K off. That is a super sweet deal.

Tim said in a video today that they won't roll orders...Packages are changing, so not an even roll-over.
Must Make a new order on August 2, 2022, Ford will prioritize and issue a 'private money 'offer.' *Original order # date goes away, apparently (somewhere at the 51 minute mark), will get a new order # and a greater priority.

It's going to get messy...er

edit for Tim's link and new info I heard :

Well thank God I'm out of the mess, errr sort of. I got a vin and a tentative build date, but until I actually see where it's been built and shipped, I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Yeah, there not offering a 22' straight even for 23' pricing for those who missed out on getting a Mav according to my conversations with Granger today. I'd guess the $3K gone for sure...we have built their allotment numbers so guessing that's going down the drain, plus the price increases year over year. Oh well.
