I ordered my XLT through Granger on Dec 8th and was scheduled the next week for Jan 29th. Same with another guy that ordered a few days after me. I think I was a "clean up" order but Ford is deff scheduling more XLT's now with a 3rd shift pumping etc. XL's you may still be waiting a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if I have my truck Late Feb or early March, can't complain about that, much faster than I was anticipating.

I think I am the other guy you are referring to. ordered 12/19/23 on 12/21/23 got vin and build date of 2/19/24

There are only a couple of states that prevent it. CA and FL, I think. Go online with Granger...easy process. I did, from WY.

I bought an extended warranty from them for my Bronco and I'm in NC. I have a '24 Lariat Hybrid on order from them with a build date in a couple of weeks, I plan on adding one on that as well. Granger is the best price for extended warranties.

I'm only ~300 miles from them. I'd say unless you can drive or fly in and drive it home, I'd just find a local dealer. Shipping would probably negate any savings. But, I'm sure they've shipped cars before too so you could reach out to them to inquire on a price.

If you live in Hawaii standard markup is 3k. Shipping is 2200. $1000 off is a good way to pay for a vacation. $1000 in airfare and the rest in gas and road snacks. All you gotta pay for is hotels.
