  6. When will the "re-designed" CV axles be in?

My truck started shimmy/shaking under acceleration, mainly between 50 and 60 mph. I thought it was tires at first. Also noticed it does it under more that usual acceleration at any speed. Issue keeps getting worse
  7. When will the "re-designed" CV axles be in?

The dealer verified I did indeed have the CV axle issue a month ago. He said Ford had put a nationwide stop on the part as its undergoing a re-design. I have no idea if any of this is accurate but this is what I was told. I was told to take your Maverick home and we'll call when we have the...

  10. Lost the rear backup proximity alert

This is my wifes truck. It use to have the alert when you started getting close to something in reverse, not sure exactly what it is called. One day it just went away, trying to figure out what happened to re-enable it Thanks
  11. How do you guys like your AWD's?

How do you guys like your AWD's? Took delivery of our FWD Eco in December 22 but also have a Hybrid on order. We are moving away from the city so I am thinking seriously about switching that "highly unlikely" hybrid order to an AWD. When the AWD is not needed does the truck keep it shut down...

  14. My 25,000 mile / 1 year XLT review

Do not follow the indicator, change your oil at 5K miles at a minimum ( ecoboost).
  15. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

Probably should have a hose handy. I'm guessing as soon you sign off on it and they pull away they are off the hook. Might want to look into the details, I could be wrong
  16. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

So Easy Ship was anything but easy huh? No one has a clue how to do business anymore I swear! The only advice I was would offer...go over the truck with a fine tooth comb before signing off with the shipper. Congrats on finally getting it!
  17. How many miles did you have one first oil change 2.0 ecoboost?

Performed first oil change this week at 533 miles. Going with full syn 5w/30 and Wix filters the rest of the way. I don't care what oil you use, what filter you use. The only opinion I will offer is with the 2.0 EB change the oil often, as has been stated previously in this thread by...
  18. Wiring Harness for trailer hitch

I agree with you. So far just vague rumors. I installed my Curt trailer hitch today and I also have purchased the Curt (no splice) Maverick specific wiring harness. Are we to believe that Uhaul, for example, is going to turn away all of their potential Maverick trailer hitch installs...I...
