You bought a vehicle with $10,000 worth of lipstick on it. It's a $30k truck that's been tarted up. Honestly both My XL'S have never had a squeak or rattle. No issues of any type yet except the 23's screen went black a couple times, and the 25 dome light only works if it's on the on position which doesn't bother me enough to fix it. It works fine when I click the switch to on. It's literally Ford's cheapest vehicle. You have to expect some quirks.

My 22’s screen went black but its only happened one time over the past 3 and 1/2 years!

I have the clicking in the passenger side Windshield area mostly in cold weather below 30 degrees which could be the Windshield alignment pins like some guys have mentioned. It was 51 on Tuesday and barely a noise from the passenger side Windshield area.Otherwise I have no other rattles or any other complaints at 5,800 miles except for the Fuel Gauge that I don't care for.To much plastic IMO being used is why we have the rattle and clicking noises. Although I do agree with You if Ford knows where these rattle problems are coming from we shouldn't still have them on the 25-26 Models.

Today it was over 30 degrees and hardly any clicking noises!!

Yep good looking truck. Good power train. Never owned a luxury vehicle but dash rattles have been figured out for years. Strategically placed felt and foam wrapped connectors etc.. The clicking and rattles just weren't a compromise I planned on. Then to search posts and see the same issue never addressed. Too many people make excuses for everything made today.

I. Not making excuses for mine because I don't hear any rattles. But if you're hearing rattles, take it in. Have someone ride with you and listen. As a tech. I Hate squeaks and rattles. But occasionally we get them (Thus far no Maverick owner has complained yet. But our dealership is small). And when we get them. We figure them out. If there are enough complaints that turn out to be the same with the same fix, Ford often will issue a bulletin giving us guidance to find and fix it. You have a lot of areas of dissatisfaction. I suggest that you separate the "it's just a cheap truck" complaints from the "it should not be doing this" complaints. The "it's just a cheap truck complaints" such as the cheap plastics that are easy to stretch are the nature of the beast and have to be accepted. But various squeaks and rattles should not be occurring and need to be fixed. You can't complain about a vehicle having objectionable squeaks and rattles while simultaneously refusing to take it in because you don't have time or "shouldn't have to". You either want it fixed or are willing to live with the rattles. If the rattles can't be freaked after a couple of attempts, then you have a legitimate complaint. But if you simply chose not to take it in to get checked, I don't think there's a case for a legitimate complaint in my opinion

I think it is the perfect size and has great power. Within 50 miles the clicking in passenger side dash/glass area started. Then on any kind of bumps the dash sounds like something from the 80's definitely not the quality of 40K. I bought the wrong vehicle for someone with bad aversion to clicks and rattles. Wind noise is ridiculous. I'm coming from a fairly new Honda Ridgeline. I love how the Maverick looks and the size and MPG. I knew it was a downgrade with the plastic interior but didn't expect all the crappy sounds. Oh several scars on the dash right from the factory and couldn't see them in bright sunlight now can't stop seeing them. This interior is a $12000 90's Kia Rio looks better but scars too easy. This would be a good $20000 buy. Lariat with XL interior but I knew that going in. You can dress up a pig. Oh and why do my windows all look sand lasted or pitted and water stand. Windshield glitters in sunlight at right angle. Back window has weird spots like maybe water stains. Always garaged. 650 miles of regret.

I've never understood why people want to pay $20,000 more for a trim level in a $27k truck. When the production run started it was 20k, base. And then there were tariffs and what not and 4 years passed.

I bought my Base Lobo because I did not need the extra features of the High Lobo.

I was going to buy an XT - but I liked the added features of the Lobo and they were worth it to me.

Folks who buy Lariats figure the upgrades are worth the price.

My 2025, purchased June 20th, 2025. So far only issue was a scratched drivers rear window which I noticed when I got it home. Replaced under warrant. Haven’t had an issue or rattle yet. so far I Am pleasantly surprised too. I’m now at 11,125 kms. (6912 miles).
