As I prepare to order my 2025 maverick, I can't help but notice that there seems to be more issues with the the hybrid version? (At least according to the forum posts)

If they have AWD in both drivetrains, the hybrid worries me for reliability. Or are they similar for reliability?

Thoughts?
As you are aware, the current Hybrid is only available in front wheel drive and at right about 1 plus years and around 10K miles I have had zero problems with mine and the recall stuff was taken care of during oil change service. I would have like a bit more out of the factory B&O sound system, but I am impressed with how smoothly the random function transitions song to song from my 32gig thumb drive.

Wow, quite chilly I would say. In that case, for me, I would choose the traditional ICE echo boost version and option it with the engine block heater. Good luck with your decision. Their great little trucks. Oh and make sure you order the trailer hitch, it was like $100.00 option stand alone, some option packages include it. Whether you tow or not, it can be used for lots of things (bike racks, bed extenders, tow point if you get stuck, etc), way more expensive adding it later on!
I agree 100% on the trailer hitch $100, no way you could do it for less and be even close to OEM.

Awesome! We are on the same page!
Hybrids can be ordered with engine block heaters, heated seats, wheel, and they come with a battery heater also.

If you plug in at night, the hybrid will beat the ecoboost FUEL ECONOMY ALL WINTER LONG.

I’ve had my 2025 XLT Hybrid now for about a month and a half and so far I have not had any issues! Hopefully they worked out all the bugs from the previous year models issues!
