I think it is the perfect size and has great power. Within 50 miles the clicking in passenger side dash/glass area started. Then on any kind of bumps the dash sounds like something from the 80's definitely not the quality of 40K. I bought the wrong vehicle for someone with bad aversion to clicks and rattles. Wind noise is ridiculous. I'm coming from a fairly new Honda Ridgeline. I love how the Maverick looks and the size and MPG. I knew it was a downgrade with the plastic interior but didn't expect all the crappy sounds. Oh several scars on the dash right from the factory and couldn't see them in bright sunlight now can't stop seeing them. This interior is a $12000 90's Kia Rio looks better but scars too easy. This would be a good $20000 buy. Lariat with XL interior but I knew that going in. You can dress up a pig. Oh and why do my windows all look sand lasted or pitted and water stand. Windshield glitters in sunlight at right angle. Back window has weird spots like maybe water stains. Always garaged. 650 miles of regret.

Gee, that's too bad.
My experience has been the opposite, so I can't agree with you.
Trade it in and find another vehicle, but you just may find something else to complain about.
I'm sure you can find something wrong with any vehicle, as nothing man made is perfect.

This would be a good $20000 buy.
That's probably because at one point, it was a $20,000 buy.

Lariat with XL interior but I knew that going in. You can dress up a pig.
So, not sure what the issue is? Squeaks and rattles I believe are covered under the 12-month, 12000 mile adjustments warranty.

I knew it was a downgrade with the plastic interior but didn't expect all the crappy sounds. Oh several scars on the dash right from the factory and couldn't see them in bright sunlight now can't stop seeing them.
Sounds like you should buy a Lexus or something. The center console and the glove box in my Lexus GX470 were lined with felt-covered foam to prevent rattles of whatever was inside.

The Maverick has corners cut to meet a price point. You knew that going in, but decided to buy it anyway, and are now here seeking what? Confirmation that you should sell it or start taking it in to get squeaks and rattles chased?

My $25K 2024 Corolla Hatch & my $35k 2019 GMC Canyon both had much nicer & more solid interiors than my $39K Maverick.

But my Maverick interior has really grown on me:) Shimmed the obnoxious dash rattle yay.

The Maverick is roomier & easier to enter/exit than my previous rides - and much quicker too.

I find the seats very comfy - hopefully the OP doesn’t have pre-existing back problems!

I certainly agree with the OP on how good looking the exterior is:)

Yep good looking truck. Good power train. Never owned a luxury vehicle but dash rattles have been figured out for years. Strategically placed felt and foam wrapped connectors etc.. The clicking and rattles just weren't a compromise I planned on. Then to search posts and see the same issue never addressed. Too many people make excuses for everything made today.

I didn't buy it so I could leave it at the dealer for weeks fixing these issues. I don't believe for a second everyone doesn't have these issues. Too much coping and sticking up for this sort of thing is why they get away with it.

$40 plus grand isn't a cheap vehicle for the average retired dude or even middle class. Quit making excuses for manufacturing going backwards.

If the metal and paint get any weaker/thinner it will dent and the paint will come off after a year of washing.

First week we had a snow storm and I was surprised with all the snow not to mention salt packed in the wheel wells and every crevice must of been hundred pounds worth. Sorry I didn't inspect for gaping holes underneath but thought that was figured out after the Model A.

I cancelled my first batch order and waited till now figuring at twice the price and several years later the bugs were worked out FFS. My Dad bought a new F150 every three years at 200K miles since the 70's and this is a step backwards in a lot of ways.

I’ve owned 4 Mavericks and they do have a cheap interior which easily scratches and squeaks. I finally took my wife’s 24 Lariat in and they kept it overnight and tightened up everything in the dash and it eliminated 90% of the noise. It still makes some noise on cold days but we like it more every day. I drive a 25 hybrid AWD and it is pretty quite , only complaint I have about it is that it doesn’t get the mpg(only 40) compared to wife’s 24 hybrid. 46mpg.

Yeah I will be sticking with it but that clicking just got on my last nerve today. I thought I figured it out. I love the idea of the hybrid and bringing back smaller trucks used 99% on the street. I took a 225 trip on a 5 degree day mostly highway and only got 25 MPG on that one and I obey speed limits and drive like an old man. Then on a 55 degree day all city 12 miles and that trip said 57.7 MPG. I know we're talking the report when you shut the truck off. So on days with temp over 45 mix of city and highway usually right around 35. I really like the drivetrain, motor, pickup. I bought the 1982 Ford Mustang GT when it came back 302 HO 153 HP lol purchased used in 1987 and this thing is faster in my opinion.

Anyway just seems we are all getting ripped off these days. 40K isn't cheap. This is still a $25000 truck with a 90s Kia Rio interior. Heck even those dashes were quiet. Bought my wife one new. It did scratch easy at least the glove box.
