Just got off Chat. My XL EB with AWD/4K has moved to Priority 12. Does that mean anything?

Your dealer might have changed the priority code in WBDO for whatever reason. I know they can assign priority codes for retail orders from 10-19. 1-9 are Ford-only priority codes.

Wow just got off the phone to FMC. I asked about the Price I agreed to with the order on 9/16/22.
It wasnt good she told me the price was to be handled by the dealer. I thought I was locked in on the ordered price. I was told up to the Dealer. WTH??

The dealer sets the prices. The Manufacturer suggests the price ( MSRP) but the dealer can really do whatever the heck they want, and while there are ethical obligations to honor a price that was agreed to at the time of ordering, they can choose to ignore that price.

@fordvideoguy has many segments discussing how to try and pressure the dealer to honor the price at the time of order (using SMART Vincent etc) but you really don't have much power, unfortunately.

Best of luck to all of you 2021 orderers still waiting! It used to make me (10-14-21 order) mildly annoyed when people would say "oh the hybrid is worth the wait", but after a month with my 23 XL hybrid... It's completely true. The gas mileage is amazing, and the hybrid powertrain is much better than the base Santa fes. It's a surprisingly nice highway cruiser too, and it's just plain good-great at everything. You didn't make a mistake waiting as long as you have been.

The "$40,000 F-150 Lightning" was always unobtanium, anyways. Just like how the $20,000 base XL Hybrid Maverick doesn't exist anymore either. It's like $23,000 now for the same thing after price increases, and that's not including destination and delivery.

Yeah this is true, but what about all those ECO BOOST orders from 2021 that are still in limbo and unscheduled. I'm [11/3/21] not a word from FORD or dealer since Oct 3 2022 ! ???
