Nah, I'm a Maverick owner who put in an order for a 2024 Maverick XLT AWD and an order for a Ranger XL. Walked away from both.

What was the MSRP on the Ranger? I have thought about getting a new Maverick but my present 22 Lariat only has 18k miles, cost less than 29k and has 16 payments left with zero percent interest. Just cannot see getting a new one; besides my "old" one ain't broke yet!!!

I was totally psyched about getting the Ranger, and then when I was driving back to the east coast from Tampa, I had a weird premonition: DON'T DO IT.

I have to say, though, I am impressed by the Ranger. My sister and BIL bought a brand new loaded Ranger a couple years ago. They brought it by to show us and I really liked it.

It was the reason I started looking at Ford. I did some research and decided on the Maverick, but had I not, I would be in a Ranger.

I do like my Maverick, though. No regrets.

I was almost tempted to run (drive) down to Indiana for a NEW 2019 Ranger back in early 2020.
Glad I waited, 2 years and 11 months. Before, I DID run down to Indiana to buy My MAV...
Everytime, I start him up. I am SOO Glad, I didn't make that first trip...

I love the new Rangers! I love the style (looks like a bigger Maverick), has a great payload capability, towing capability, it’s fast even with the base engine, gets decent mpg for its capabilities and you can get all that for under 40k! I watched a YouTube video and the base engine Ranger was faster than all other mid size pickups! If I needed to tow I would get a Ranger! With that said I’m hoping the Maverick will eventually get a 5 foot bed and tow 5k.
