I'm glad I got a MY23. The first generation Mavericks had all kinds of stuff standard that the new trucks don't have. Like blindspot mirrors, spare tire, jack, and my favorite, knobs and buttons for the climate controls 😬
First thing was the Musology mudflaps, which have since been swapped out for the Mabett mudflaps. I like that the Mabett flaps are more flexible and don't sit on the paint like some other brands. Then a seat cover for the back seats. I'm still waiting for you guys to make a set of cloth front...
Got the backup camera and trailer module updates done today. Everything seems to have gone well. I was out the door in just under 2 hours. I had them check the battery since it constantly goes into deep sleep and the auto start/stop hasn't worked in a year. (Not that I minded) They charged the...
It's a recall, so they'll pester you with notices until you get it done. I have an appointment on Monday for this recall and the backup camera recall. I hope it goes well. I really don't want to go back again. I'll let you know how it turns out. I have a 23 XLT Tremor, for reference.
23 XLT Tremor. I'm a fan of the mudflaps. They don't rest on the paint, they're flexible and easy to install. I also have the trey that goes in the center armrest console and the cover for the cavity behind the driver's side wheel. I am satisfied with both. Make a set of cloth front seat covers...
I also dislike the "leather" options. I bought an XLT mostly for the cloth seats. The Carhartt covers would work, but they look like a grain sack. It would be nice to have something a little more aesthetically pleasing. Help us Mabett. You're our only hope!
I respectfully disagree. It does depend where you live. Upstate NY is 4x4 territory. My truck is mint with 6400 miles on it. If you can get a new Tremor for $36k, you're a daisy.
Don't forget about the Farm Bureau discount. If you join 30 days before you take delivery, you'll get a $500 discount. Join the Illinois FB for $20 and they'll mail you a membership card which gets you $500 off your truck. You don't have to live in Illinois, btw.
I paid $32k for my 2023 XLT Tremor 3 years ago and it's still worth $30k or so. They hold their value remarkably well. If you can swing the AWD option, I'd recommend it. For the resale, if nothing else. Congrats. You're going to love it.
2023 XLT Tremor with 6,400. Garage kept and looks like new. Still get a wiff of that new car smell every once in a while, even after almost 3 years. Only problem was a failed wastegate actuator that was covered under warranty. I paid $32k for it and I bet I could still get $30k, if I wanted to...
I have a Craftsman pancake compressor that works well. It's quite noisy, but does the job quickly and effortlessly. However, it would be nice to have a smaller, more portable compressor that doesn't take half the day to fill up your tires and isn't too expensive.
It says $54.95 OBO. Did you make an offer? Wonder how much they'll knock off the price 🤔
I like the decal with the mountains. I've never seen that one before.
I've had my Tremor for about 3 years now and I absolutely love it. I went from a full size Ram to this, so I know what your saying about it being easier to park. It gets twice the fuel mileage and doesn't feel like a billboard when you're trying to wash and wax it. If you ever get the urge to...
I also got one for my 23 XLT Tremor. I'm hoping to get it done at the same time as the backup camera recall. And I'm hoping they'll replace my battery, as well.
I've had some clock issues on my 23 XLT Tremor, but it's working fine now. My issues were with the Spring and Fall daylight savings time changes. It would change it back on it's own. I've seen the no clock display once, but it fixed itself somehow. One of the many reasons I purchased an extended...
