Hybrids arent the only ones going into deep sleep mode, the ecoboost does as well. I think the battery is just a piece of crap.

This fixed my issue too on my Ecoboost. My ecoboost did same basic thing when i got it last october!put new battery in it in December and have had no more problems.
You put in a new of same brand or something different? My ecoboost did same basic thing when i got it last october!put new battery in it in December and have had no more problems.
if you've done the Battery Monitoring System reset (which is extremely easy to do), and it's still going into deep sleep, then honestly my first thought is that you're probably right. The battery probably is crap.Hybrids arent the only ones going into deep sleep mode, the ecoboost does as well. I think the battery is just a piece of crap.
Doesn't the EB. have a different 12v?Hybrids arent the only ones going into deep sleep mode, the ecoboost does as well. I think the battery is just a piece of crap.
yes, it's an H6 size. it can be Enhanced Flood (EF) or Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) but the AGM battery is vastly superior. I haven't seen anything but the EF dying prematurely on ecoboost trucks, but that's just my observation.Doesn't the EB. have a different 12v?
No it does not.12 volt socket stays on for 90 minutes after turning off. At least my hybrid does.
The deep sleep happened to me. I swapped the 12v battery to a new one and have never had a problem since.A lot of stock batteries may be weak or defective in a bargain basement vehicle.
It may be this simple.
My 23 hybrid the cigarette lighter plug stays on for 90 minutes key off and out door open and closed. Just confirmed this. So don’t just make blatant comments that it does not.No it does not.
When my Hybrid is turned off the socket still has power (just like the radio) but as soon as the driver door opens it is not powered any more.
