Here’s my set up to carry my Wavewalk S4 Microskiff. 2000 mile round trip to Key West. I used the Elevate and Pro X15 tonneau. Easy clamp on installation for both. Islamorada Sandbar!
Just used the Maverick to pull my 224 Blackjack up the ramp. XL Hybrid. Ramp is located in the neighborhood 500 yards from my house. Pulled it up really easy. Didn’t strain at all. Probably around 3500 lbs. I was worried it wouldn’t do it.
You need to hardwire a 12 volt plug directly to the jumper post under the hood. The existing 12 volt plug in the console shuts off in 90 minutes. Diode wiring harness splices into the lighting harness in the rear lights to allow the motorhome lights to work the toad lights. Easy install.
We haul a Wavewalk S4 microskiff catamaran with a 6hp Suzuki 4 stroke. Very stable, rides smooth, weighs 90lbs, easy to load, stable and plenty of room. Really tough.
RVi system. Like was posted here, the only time I’ve had my brake system activate, is when some jerk pulled out in front of me so very little 12 volt power needed.
