Funny how it could be as that socket is powered off when the Maverick is shut off.
It's not, it stays hot for a long time. If I don't unplug my dashcamera from the 12v socket it just keeps rolling. I've seen it go for over 1 hour after turning off the truck.

My 23 hybrid the cigarette lighter plug stays on for 90 minutes key off and out door open and closed. Just confirmed this. So don’t just make blatant comments that it does not.
It is you who are making blatantly comments as if your experience is the same for everyone.

It is not what I experience so either you have a setting enabling the power to remain on for 90 minutes or you have a defective Maverick.

I too have checked and my Hybrid Maverick does the following:

No it does not.

When my Hybrid is turned off the socket still has power (just like the radio) but as soon as the driver door opens it is not powered any more.
Your words were
No it does not. Others have posted my same experience

I guess both of ours are defective

12 volt socket stays on for 90 minutes after turning off. At least my hybrid does.
If you read my comment. At least my hybrid does! Never said anyone else's did!

Also I was attacked by @Donald with this post:

Others either have a setting enabled to allow for the 90 minutes of continuous power or a defective Maverick.

Their words state that their experience is the same for everyone.

I for one do not experience it so their words are wrong for me.

So I stand by my "No it does not" which I have proven in post #32 of this thread:

Proof the 12V outlet loses power as soon as Door Opened

Very interesting.

Also if you open the driver's door it probably turns it back on?

Maybe yours is defective. There are no settings to enable the plug to stay active. Again, nobody said everyone’s stays active.

There are no settings (I am aware of) in the menus provided to the consumer. There are however, engineering settings that can be changed with "engineering" software and a cable hooked up to the truck.

A few enthusiasts on these forms have the ability (knowledge and software) to make these changes.

I should be a moderator don't you think? Since I read darn near every page.

My truck is straight from the factory. I don’t know of any settings that have been changed. As stated, others have seen the same as mine.

I can say without a doubt that the EcoBoosts are also going into Deep Sleep mode… I got the notification from my FordPass app and took a screenshot of it in the app too.

Unfortunately for me, my Mav is out for hail damage repair right now and has been for a bit so I can’t do anything about it for a few more days…. But it is definitely a Maverick issue NOT a Maverick Hybrid issue only!

Unless I am missing something with the hybrids it shouldn't be possible to discharge a 12v battery to the point you can't start the truck. They like the Ecoboosts have an BMS (Battery Management System/Sensor) that will cut off all electrical inputs into the batttery when the battery voltage drops to a certain level. Unless you wire around it or there is some defect in the BMS itself a parasitic drain or any outlet in use with the key off can not take down the battery. If the 12V battery is losing charge to the point you can't start the truck it is most likely the battery itself.

It will if you do. The cut off time on these is controlled by 2 things, first a software timeout setting then the BMS itself will override that when it pulls the battery down to certain voltage level, it will cut off all power for every input into the battery to preserve the battery itself.
