Kia Niro PHEV:
$35k
49 mpg
33 electric miles on a charge

For me the draws with the Maverick are: hybrid, I can get into and out of it easily (I have a Corolla currently), and the price. The Niro is more expensive, but I get free charges at work so I'll probably save roughly $750-1k a year in gas relative to the Maverick. So over 5 years the Mav probably wins by about $4-5k on price. The Niro has a bigger seating area. I think I'd be content with either, though the Niro seating area being bigger is a definite plus.
Niro is my Plan B, too, also for the MPG. Gently used in my area can be had for mid to high 20's. I'll lay down and cry like a little girl though, if I have to go that route. I want my little red truck.

I would think a few would get notified by Noon today. I see nothing posted anywhere.

I checked out the Niro PHEV too about a month ago. I was impressed with the ride and smooth freeway speed with the ICE completely off. Dealers up north appear to get the Cold Weather Package which helps keep the ICE off while heating up the cabin in the winter.

I still want my Maverick to haul the dirty stuff. If Ford keeps frustrating then at some point the Niro is definitely in the mix.

If you go just HEV you can get a brand new Niro for $26k or $29k for the lower trims. It's essentially equivalent to an XL pricing but with higher MPG (I think it's over 50). But yeah, it's not the same if you have your heart set on a truck. Here's hoping you (and I) get scheduled soon!

I think the ship has sailed. Nothing left for June.

The part where I'm booed: I think next order wave will be May 11 for July.

If I remember what you have said previously, they still have a good chunk of EB left to schedule, and that for most it is likely an allocation game at this point?

It'll be interesting to see the impact of the 3rd shift for July scheduling.

I would need to get a breakdown of outstanding orders. But EBs should mostly be allocation limited at this point unless Ford has the odd constraint that impacts a specific EB order.

Has anyone seen/heard any numbers recently? Last one I saw was 62K unscheduled at end of February.

That's what I last had and it lines up to what Ford has produced. In fact, I was off by just 1 truck.

Assuming they have not taken any more fleet or non-USA orders, they should have around 43K unscheduled orders.

But as they build more dealer stock orders it is going to be impossible to know without Ford providing the unscheduled order numbers.

I figured this was the likely reality. Oh well, here's hoping I'm scheduled before day 500.
