Well, I tested positive two days ago, even though I'm fully Moderna vaccinated and boosted. That said, I can still taste and smell, I don't have a fever, the best I can describe what I'm currently experiencing is a bad sinus infection with a messed up tummy. I'm glad I'm vaccinated becausei think my symptoms are milder because of it. I'm hoping to be through this soon.

I had the original strain of Covid in November 2020. I consider myself fortunate to not have had serious complications. While I did lose sense of taste/smell, the worst thing to me was the overwhelming fatigue. I ran a fever for 12 days and for a good 14 days, I don't think I was out of bed more than 5 hours each day. But, I had no respiratory issues and I recovered.

I am now Moderna vaxxed (April and May 2021) and Moderna boosted (November 2021). Never any side effects. I hear Moderna is now working on a 4th shot, which I will happily take as well.

Me and my wife thought we did because we got sick after my coworkers whole family tested positive. It wasnt the resperatory deal but the new gut/butt trouble kind. We had the same symptoms as them but both of us are negative.

Glad to hear that you're not being bed ridden! I agree that have the vaccine is probably making the symptoms milder than without. Hope you are well very soon!

Oh ... The tired is there. Definitely more tired, but not bed ridden, for sure.

2 sons, 2 granddaughters and several other very close relatives have had it and did great. However we’ve buried 2 very close relatives, my best friend from HS, a neighbor and the mothers of 3 friends. You’ll most likely be very good. But please people, be careful. Take it serious and also don’t over react. Just like you don’t play in the freeway, make good health choices and trust your doctors. Now isn’t the time to think they all suddenly went stupid.

Same exact symptoms. I opted to not get vaccinated and got covid again. 2 time was more like a cold - my natural antibodies are through the roof.

I got Omicron variant three weeks ago. Got it from my wife. We are both double vaxxed. Like a bad cold for 2 days and lost taste and smell for a week. I don’t think there is any stopping omicron. Pretty sure everyone is going to get it.

Getting vaccinated does not prevent you from getting Covid or other type of viral infection. All it does is gearing your body or immune system up to fight the actual infection when you get one. One person's Covid experience is differ from another because the immune system is different in each person.

Nope, nothing in almost 2 years. Have not worn a mask unless mandated. However, periodically since retiring, I have caught severe cases of Loafantile Paralysis, a disease whereupon I have these urges to do absolutely nothing but sit in front of a computer and talk to people from all over this great country. I fear this disease is getting more severe as I get older. I just bought a smart phone which I fear is going to aggravate the symptoms.

People need to remember a few things.

1. It's a virus and we can't stop it....
2. Everybody's immune system is slightly different just because one person got it and didn't get sick, doesn't mean that will happen to everyone.
3. Even getting your vaccine and bolstered you can still contract COVID, it's a virus, the vaccine helps you from getting too sick.
4. LAstly, The people dying in hospitals and ER are unvaccinated.
