It’s a truck, not a trunk for a car. The bed and tailgate is not designed to hold water. There are gaps/spaces/drain holes, etc.

Try tapping BEFORE you hold it down. Every tap should increase speed 1 mph. Holding down may be telling the system to increase to ?? Likewise, every negative tap should slow down 1 mph. Works this way on both of my current Fords.

Who is the dealer? Did they promise MSRP with no markups? Did they sign anything? Did you sign the DORA at order time? Did you talk about X Plan at the time of order? Need more information before we can help.
