Sounds like what i went through when my airbags were replaced. Scratched dash, pry marks on the plastic, fingerprints on the headliner and even a dent on the passengers rocker panel from a dropped tool. The service from my dealer, Lucas Ford, was subpar to say the least. I won't let them touch...
I believe the original poster (me) after making an observation, was just ASKING if it was by design or not. Take a chill pill dude. It'll be alright... alright.
I've tried to but it's either too dark, too close or too far away to get a pic that shows the askew seat clearly. It does make it ever so slightly easier to enter and exit the seat though.
While sitting quietly in my two week old XLT Hybrid Maverick I realized the driver's seat is angled ever so slightly to the left. It's very slight but definitely noticeable. Is this an intended design detail or design flaw? Anyone else notice this. BTW, I'm only 300 mile in and am averaging...
Today I tried to remove, hide or lessen the scratch on the vertical, black plastic trim on the outside of the front passenger window framing that my wife said she didn't cause by her nails or rings. I tried silicon spray, tire black and black pigmented car wax but I can still see it. Less than...
I have the moonroof on my Maverick. It slides open within the roof line. Loss of headroom, which is generous to begin with, is only a bit lessened. The mooner gives an upscale feel to the driving experience. The option costs me $795 when I ordered it in August. I don't know what it is now.
I've had my XLT Hybrid for a week now and as I was giving it a coat of wax I noticed that the contours of the two front door skins near the mirrors, just under the black moulding under the windows are very reminiscent of the F-150's front door's sloping dip at the window's base by the mirrors...
Got my Maverick from Lucas Ford in NJ. When I ordered it there was no down payment or signed commitment. Upon delivery there were no price hassles. Paid MSRP with no markup. Couldn't have been easier.
Awesome! I've only put 175 miles on it but already I Love This Truck. Averaging 37 mpg without even trying to be a gas miser. Good luck with yours. Happy Motoring!
On my XLT Hybrid there are three function switches on the console. Drive mode, traction control & auto hold but no auto start/stop. I'm assuming there is NO auto start/stop on my vehicle. Is that feature exclusive to the EcoBoost?
Mine was the first I had seen in person. I picked it up this past Saturday. Then on Monday I had to stop back at the dealership to drop off the owner's manual of the car I traded in and there was a black XL AWD with a 2" lift, 20" wheels with big all terrain tires and fully tinted windows...
Whenever I open the doors to my Hybrid XLT I hear a sequence of clicks that sound like relays or switches activating. It lasts several seconds to nearly 30 seconds. Anyone know what they are? I'm assuming it's normal but it's seems unusual. Thanks
