Since getting married in 1974 and needing to stop wasting money needlessly on vehicles I only wanted not needed I starting keeping each vehicle for approx. 175,000 miles each. (Yes, it hurt like a bitch getting rid of that 440-6 Mopar beast but I saved a ton of money on speeding tickets.) It...
Congrats on your new Ranger.
A Maverick is my last truck. I either die with my current one in the garage or piss everybody off and live longer than expected and need to buy another one. :D
Very sorry to hear about the OP's tranny. Where did the OP go? We are full of questions. Unless I missed something or two I did not catch how many miles on the clock and how many tranny fluid changes in that time.
People complain all the time about how expensive oil and fluid changes have...

Suspects a CV axle or wheel bearing that causes a rumbling on turns at 10K and now he has...
I'm a great big showoff. I have FX/4 on the side of my FX/4, I wear a US Navy Vet ball cap and have Tecova stamped on the sole of my boots. :D
Well let's respectfully agree to disagree. Losing 19 Billion dollars on a product that currently captures 6% market share IMHO qualifies as a niche product at best. That is torture to the shareholders. You may disagree with my statement and that is fine but it sure goes against conventional...
Well there is that too for sure, but without all that EV nonsense, the company and the shareholders would be 19 billion dollars richer today. Once it's lost, it becomes red ink and never comes back. Lot's of tax write off I would say.
