No. I have my factory XL IPMA, with blind spot sensors.
Oh wow, even better. I saw your post in the other 2025 specific thread and just kind of assumed. So you think with your additional forscan changes and the ccm wired up you'll be good to go then?

Sorry but if you time is worth anything you should ha bought a Lariat. ACC is exactly why I went that route
Unhelpful comment. 68 pages of comments in this thread, we’re just hobbyists that like to tinker. Whatever we do with our own time is our own business.

I’m currently building from scratch a bass knob with a 12 position rotary switch that I could probably buy for $75, but reverse engineering the old one and building something is worthwhile even if I fail. I had fun doing it. Some of us like to fill our time with learning how to do something, with bettering ourselves and our things.

That in itself is worth the extra time to me.

There’s nothing else the lariat has to offer that I would even miss, if a $250 radar module from eBay gets this project working, it’s a win-win.

I do. I gotta figure out how to get my bumper and grill removed to install the module and then I’ll be in business. The secret was getting the proper config, and the proper CCM. The 2024 wasn’t compatible it has to be from a 2025 Maverick.

I still have it plugged in behind the seat and haven’t gotten any codes besides blocked sensor. If I tried to turn the cruise on, I get the error message again on the dash it says block sensor adaptive cruise unavailable.

I also havent installed the steering wheel switch, but everything I can see comparing xl and lariat asbuilt. It should just drop in and work. The codes for the part numbers on the steering column control module don’t change between trims.

It also appears optional to change the switch, you just won’t be able to change your follow distance.

@Maverick_Dave

I plugged in my CCM, made all these changes. Zero 2101 DTCs, just some DTCs I can never clear because I installed an amp on the door speakers.

The warning “collision assist disabled” disappeared on its own once I finished these. Lane keeping is enabled too.
I won’t be able to get any further until I actually install the CCM.

If your before config matches mine, you can go ahead and make these changes, if you don’t have Blindspot sensors, then a few of these might look different and might need to be adjusted.

Edit: collision assist disabled comes back after driving, but most likely because the CCM is dangling from the IPMA behind the rear seat back. It says blocked sensor on forscan.

I'll try this in the morning. A lot of the before values on mine are different.
Also, there are supposedly 2 different IPMA modules available for the Mavericks.

@Maverick_Dave There might be more than two lol. It may be the case that this works on mine because I have Blindspot sensors.

Since you already have the cruise control module installed and wired up, hopefully you can just edit the config and go. Some of the IPMAs are A suffix I believe, some are B, like mine, lariats have an F suffix.

Lmk if you need help with the forscan part, I can see what might change because your before is different.

In general, it will be the same changes, just offset by the difference between your and my starting value. Not 100% that’s always the case tho.

For example, if my starting value is 3 and your starting value is two, but my target value was B then your target will be A, or if my target was A yours would be 9.

I finally got around to trying this on my 2025 XLT without BLIS, and I am pleasantly surprised that it works!

I bought this CCM/front radar RB5T-9G768-AB from eBay for $117 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/257282104468)

(my IPMA is SZ6T-14G647-BBF btw, it's the low trim version with less fins and connectors and yet still supports ACC just fine apparently)

I applied the following changes with ForScan. Signs related to TSR might have been already modified because I enabled that previously.

Note, I think the PSCM changes are missing from some of the other change lists? Without it I got a DTC from the IPMA telling me it got invalid data from the PSCM.

I just used cheap pre-crimped "dupont" wires to add pins to the IPMA harness, it was extremely straightforward.

I haven't yet run proper wiring to the front bumper and mounted the radar module there, because I'm lazy, instead I've just got it taped to the rear window (it properly calibrated and functions that way apparently).

Everything appears to function, I was able to test Lane Centering and it worked beautifully. Obviously no adaptive cruise because the radar isn't pointed forward but that should be fixed once I mount it.

A note about parts on the 2025:

There are two main variants of the "CCM"/front radar module:
https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/L2C0065TR (older, used by 2022-2024 Maverick)
https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/L2CF3TR (newer, used by 2025+ Maverick and 2024+ F-150)

L2C0065TR (older) module photo:

L2CF3TR (newer) module photo:
Ford Maverick DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package 1773028308260-nm

If you're familiar with Ford's parts number system, you'll notice that the "core part number" 9G768 is the same between both variants.
This is quite annoying if you're trying to identify it by part number alone, luckily, the modules are quite visually distinct so you can usually tell by a glance at an eBay photo.

AFAICT, any of the L2CF3TR (newer) modules will work on the 2025 Maverick, so you can just get the cheapest one on eBay, often from one of the new-ish F-150s.

There are also two main styles of IPMA:

19H406 (older) from 22-24 Mavericks:

14G647 (newer) from 25+ Mavericks:

The older module is mounted up behind the windshield, while the newer one is mounted behind the seat.

Note that I identify them by their "core part number", i.e. the full part number might be SZ6T-14G647-BBF for the second module.

AFAICT, I think most if not all of the 14G647 IPMA modules are capable of basic ACC?
The Mavericks only have the 14G647-Bxx series of the modules on the lower trims and the 14G647-Fxx modules on the Lariats, but other series exist with various combinations of ports etc. for other vehicles.

For the 2025 Maverick, there are two mounting bracket options depending on your vehicle grille:

SZ6Z-14C022-A (three prong) which mounts behind the upper grille:

SZ6Z-14C022-B (four prong) which mounts behind the lower grille:

I don't think the three prong mount will work on anything except the Tremor grille, because it seems to need a cut-out, but I could be wrong.

It would be very nice to have a 3D-printable version of the 4-prong bracket, because it cost me $60 including shipping from Levittown Ford and seems to be often backordered.

ITS WORKING

Thanks yall for the tips on the bumper. Pulled it, installed the bracket and module, pulled some wires and just got back from a test drive. Everything works.

I did not change anything on the power steering control module. It’s possible I made that change ages ago and forgot, I’ll need to check my values later.

I should have ordered the deflector from the lariat, to accommodate the CCM Bracket, part # SZ6Z-8327-B,
But I just used my dremel to notch out the one on my XL and it fit alright.

I haven’t changed the steering wheel buttons yet, but as I said in a previous post, the asbuilt config for that button didn’t change in the SCCM between XLs and Lariats. It should work correctly now that the truck has functional ACC, just gotta make the swap.

I’m pretty sure that line codes for the steering column stalks, anyway.

edit: if anyone has a writeup or short good video on steering wheel disassembly for the switch swap, send it my way please.
