I specifically added the CCM radar on my 2025 for Lane Centering, I think it's really useful on long highway drives.
The strategy that works for me is to let my hand pull down on one side of the steering wheel constantly:
not only does this get rid of the "keep hands on wheel" nag, but the...
I happen to have done some research into the WACM:
https://wiki.blueovallabs.com/wiki/Wireless_Accessory_Charging_Module
From the holes in the pad, I'm assuming that's the WCFDM00N2A1 variant with a fan, which is relatively new.
You should be able to get 15W charging from it, assuming it is not...
It really annoys me when people just say "I suspect" without actually... doing any research at all?
It is well known that Hybrid Mavericks, do not in fact share much similarity with a normal car engine. Instead, they use the eCVT transmission, which needs two three phase AC motors, often...
I thought I'd post it here since it might be helpful, but I've been working on a wiki site collecting the fundamental (reverse engineered) details about Ford's EE/SE... including the different modules.
Here's the page I currently have for the CCM radar...
Could you please dry it off and take hi-res photos of both sides of the PCB for me please?
(Take off/cut off the metal covers too if you can, assuming you're planning on replacing not repairing it)
Ideally also zoomed in photos on any of the major components/chips, try to keep the markings...
You can set the distance in FORScan (EZ Mode), it will stay at the distance you set. Personally, I set it at 3 (which is the default anyway) and I never feel the need to change it.
If you're stingy like me, and willing to omit the steering wheel switches and the plastic cover over the radar, I got it down to $126.47 + $12.56 + $60.69 + $21.59 + $5 = $226.31.
If you manage to come up with a 3D printed bracket design, I think you could probably get it down to the $170 range...
No, sorry, mounting it behind the lower grille is what everyone has done so far. It requires cutting the air deflector grommet thing that goes around the edge of the radiator behind the grille.
The deflector is not exactly an important part, you could probably just take off the deflector...
I used 4x 18 AWG stranded wire in a PVC sleeve, when you remove the trim on the driver's side you can route the wire through the white plastic wire guides.
I think 18 AWG is probably a bit overkill, 20 AWG would be easier to crimp (and appears to be what Ford used).
I used crimp butt...
AFAIK all the L2CF3TR sensor modules are physically identical (they would need new FCC certification if not).
So worst case, you could flash the Maverick firmware to them.
But as you saw, I used a sensor from a 2024 F-150 and it worked first try without reflashing or anything; it was cheaper...
A note about parts on the 2025:
There are two main variants of the "CCM"/front radar module:
https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/L2C0065TR (older, used by 2022-2024 Maverick)
https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/L2CF3TR (newer, used by 2025+ Maverick and 2024+ F-150)
L2C0065TR (older) module photo:

I finally got around to trying this on my 2025 XLT without BLIS, and I am pleasantly surprised that it works!
I bought this CCM/front radar RB5T-9G768-AB from eBay for $117 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/257282104468)
(my IPMA is SZ6T-14G647-BBF btw, it's the low trim version with less fins and...
Look guys, I don't know why we're relying on Google AI summaries rather than simply trusting the service manual...
Note that the 50A fuse is a *high voltage* fuse, i.e. 300V*50A=~15kW. And an explicit mention of the 265A number.
This is the wiring diagram for the 12V high-current junction box...
I installed a 2000W inverter in my hybrid, it works beautifully. I ran a test ~1.7kW load continuously for over an hour with no issues. I don't think this helps OP if he has an ecoboost, though...
My 2025 Maverick just got a new OTA update for SYNC4 last night - finally got the "Singray Karaoke" that the F-150 and other vehicles have had for a while now.
Not sure how I feel about it, seems pretty pointless, but at least they're pushing updates?
It also seemed to make the shutdown...
Note that, of course, it pays to make friends and if you can find someone nearby with an FDRS setup it’s suddenly much more cost-effective :p
Personally, I think it’s fun, which outweighs any inconvenience lol.
That’s just a generic warning, it’s on pretty much all of the electronic modules...
Part number in the form xxxZ- are “service part numbers”, only really useful when ordering directly from Ford/dealership.
eBay stuff you should be looking for the xxxT- part number (“engineering part number”) since that’s what is printed on the label
You could probably try to find either an...
According to your AsBuilt data, the TCU assembly part number is NB5T-14G087-LB which can be replaced with service part number NB5Z-19K350-A.
Weirdly, I can't seem to find it using Ford's (public) parts search, even though it's usually been pretty reliable recently. It seems to match similar...
