The best way to improve mileage on my 2024 Maverick Lariat eco-boost is to turn off the air conditioner when it’s 100° but I’m going to pass on that
My brother-in-law installed a filter on his Dodge slant six back in the days that used rolls of toilet paper. NEVER changed his oil and the oil always looked clean. He drove the car around 150k (a long way back then) and never had a problem.
Years ago on a trip to DC we rented a car and the footwell one one side in the backseat kept filling with water. Apparently condensation fro the ac was draining there instead of where it should. Rental place didn’t want to do anything about it I got a screwdriver and used it to punch a couple of...
I use ACC A LOT. I don’t find the lane centering to be a problem. One of the reasons we got the Lariat was all the bells and whistle and I frankly don’t think I would be happy with a model with less features
Same with me. If I drive 50 or more miles in one stretch start stop works. Just around town nope. If I charge to battery to full it works but after a few days stops again. And that’s with an agm bat.
Bed cover is supposed to improve mileage and it might on longer trips. But after installing a trifold on my Ecoboost (it has some heft to it) my mileage around town dropped a noticeable amount.
When we got our Ecoboost it was the only way to get all wheel drive so it was a no brainer. No regrets although if we were getting one now the AWD hybrid might get consideration. But Since we only drive around 5,000 miles per year I might stick with Ecoboost.
