It appears. That perhaps if you go to parts counter and ask for a #42 fuse in the 2022 maverick it will fit in position #40. Maybe a #42 fuse can be place in any fuse position that requires that particular design and amperage etc. of fuze. I interpreted in one chart #42 was a 30 amp fuse then the fuze panel has a number for each location thus the position number doesn't equal the fuse number. πŸ€«πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

While the 7+4 connector looks good, I'd just drill a hole for a 7-pin, and carry a 7 to 4 adapter for when you need one. It will fit in the OEM 4-flat bracket.

Funny, I saw your video right after my post. That's a great workaround and it looks really clean. Might have to be weekend project. It's odd, or maybe not, when they installed the 7 pin, off the main wiring there's another wiring that plugs into my 4 pin. I'm thinking I'll just leave that plugged in as is and when I take the 4 pin housing off the metal, I'll just zip tie it somewhere underneath the rear bumper.
