That's pretty normal from my observations. This was flat ground to uphill.
If you use the default "power gauge" on the left side of the instrument cluster, you can see if/when the electric motor helps out while accelerating. It seems to vary
So, I was following behind someone during a moderate rain storm. It does not like all the water being kicked up from the car in front.
It will turn off, then requires you to get away from the car in front and slowly reel them back in.
Took several miles to reset and I think the rain had cleared...
