I used it a few times but prefer to drive the old fashioned way with my foot on the brake.

I got steep grades in my neighborhood.
My 2021 Bronco sport had it.
I used it on both vehicles just to try it out.

Another useless feature IMO. Matters not if it held longer.
Brake pedal it’s called, I know how to use that.
My neighbors and my Brothers Subaru has a far more useful feature I also don’t need.

Controlled descent and climb.
Going up or down they don’t have to touch the gas or the brakes at all.
That is a useful feature. That I still don’t need, because I know how to drive :’P
I tease my brother all the time about all the bullshit driving assistance.

FORD wake up !
Where is full Auto Drive ?
Tesla is leaving you behind in the dust. They hold NO patents on auto drive. It Is open source tech.
Go get it.

OK, question for the peanut gallery. When using auto-hold, are the brake lights lit? I would assume they are, but have never confirmed.

HRG
Another vote for a panel of red, yellow, green,or ? Led indicator lights maybe in the cubby next to screen.

I like it, but I leave it turned off most of the time. It's great for drive-thru's and traffic lights in my area where I know they take forever. But in normal driving, I personally don't feel much of a need for it.

This is the result of not using your auto brake hold. Would have been fine if it was engaged.

In my 2025 Hybrid, I shut it off after 2 weeks of ownership. It just made the vehicle unpredictable on some very mildly hilly stop lights on my commutes into work.

I don’t use it because I am afraid I will rear end someone at a stop light when I am driving my other car that does not have the auto holy feature

I used it for about a month; turned it off and never turned it back on

I love it, don't remember ever shutting it down, never had a vehicle witht hat feature but is like the rear camera, never had it before but since I been using it I don't see myself going to another vehicle without it.

The point of it is....NEW technology. That simple. I use it in drive throughs when the cars are creeping...works great. I don't leave the button on, only use it when i need it. It is especially nice to be able to let your foot rest for a second, just to wiggle your sandal or whatever. I mean come on...it's just a feature activated by a button. You don't EVER have to push it. :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:

Exactly This ^^

Drive Thru is the only place I have used mine.. works great in that instance.

Only other thought that comes to mind is if and when my wife is ever released to drive a car again (she had knee replacement in the right leg) I can see this as a big benefit to her.

I like that it doesn’t automatically come on every time you start up. I wish they had set up the ASS feature that way as well!!!
