I added a circuit using a fuse tap at the BCM, tapping one of the "hot all times" spare fuse locations and the ground point under the passenger footwell scuff plate trim. Search "dashcam DIY" for details on tapping the BCM.
Then I ran that circuit to several locations. Glove box, center...
First of all my orange inserts are not ugly. Second, the member market place is dead. I can't believe nobody wants my $200 floor liners for $50. Sheesh.
It probably doesn't help that the 8f35 has a lower torque input rating than the 2.0 puts out.
Does anybody have any thoughts on an 8f40 (Ford Edge 2.0) swap if my 35 gives out?
Nice job! I have been contemplating replacing my non-slider with a salvaged auto slider. Is the manual slider frame identical to the auto? How did you attach the regulator to the actual window?
I know from adding a factory ambient light circuit to a 2024 XLT that the BCM of the Lariat has a different part# and pinout to the 2022-2024 XL, XLT. IIRC the Ford parts catalog listed the Lariat as w/ keyless start.
An interpretation maybe, definitely not a copy. The Maverick is a handsome vehicle that doesn't try too hard. That thing is butt ugly with a grille only a mother could love.
No offense to any Chinese readers, but they should really stick to what they do. Making less expensive, comparable copies of other countries' stuff. When they start designing their own, things go off the rails pretty quickly.
I like the Maxzina best of many I tried. The EGR “smoked” visors look brown in the sun. The Maxzina are a true blue/ gray smoked. Also the EGR’s were scratched to hell on arrival due to poor packaging. I sent them back and only got a partial refund. No more EGR products for me.
So sorry! I can honestly say that seeing reports of Maverick crashes hurts my soul. Please keep us posted on the insurance process.
What makes this even worse is, as we all know, your, Maverick Lariat was %1000 perfect. Without a single strange noise, vibration, shudder, dash rattle...
I will take pictures when time permits. Here is the short parts list:

I am the type of person that likes to keep the very bright overhead interior lights off as much as possible. Just because I find they ruin ones night vision just before exiting the vehicle. Because of that I have been adding less bright lighting in critical areas using the DIY glove box light as...
Or maybe you could produce OEM BAP inspired headlights for half the price of OEM! With projectors instead of reflectors! I believe these already exist lol. If Mabett sold something similar I would be more likely to buy them just because I know you stand behind your products.
That looks sharp. Everything fits together nicely. Reminds me of Toyota TRD OEM styling. 9/10
If you added BAP Lariat headlights and tailights it would be 10/10
