I use it all the time, and specially when I'm sitting in long lines at the drive thru or in traffic. Regular traffic I turn it off.

I love it. I had it in my 2018 Civic but had to turn it on an off each time I started the car. This staying on all the time it wonderful...now if only they would do that with drive modes :)

Speeds up red light starts.
Gotta get to the next red light split second faster to look at phone again.

All the time except when trying to park. Parking I find it "Jumps" on releasing the Brakes. Heart attack in a close garage. I turn off when My Wife is going to drive as she would slam into something parking.

I use it all the time, but my wife hates it. Thankfully, there's a switch to easily turn it on or off.

I really like the brake hold feature.
I keep it On all the time, except in the car wash.
I personally, see no down side to it.

The Auto Engine Kill feature on the other hand is very annoying. My hand automatically goes to that button to turn it off every time I buckle my seatbelt.

Great video, every driver should watch! I first saw this during a Defensive Driving Course I attended for a speeding ticket 20 years ago.

Love it for the drive-thru. Also pretty nice when used in combo with auto start/stop. Come to a full stop and then let foot off brake, engine stops and truck sits still. Press accelerator, truck starts up and goes.

When I first got my hybrid, I try auto hold a few times, but didn't find it useful.

The last place I would use it would be a drive through. You step on the gas then back on the brake, then on the gas then brake again, over and over. Maybe, if you are a two foot drive this natural. I just ease pressure off the brake and role forward.

When stopped on an steep grade auto hold engages to prevent rollback. I find this useful. But, the amount of gas required to start moving is excessive.

I use it most of the time. However it is not as smooth as the same feature on my Leaf BEV.
It is especially rough when backing out of my rather steep driveway.

I personally think adding creep to electric drives is dumb as dirt, but people seem to want it.
You do not add creep to a manual shift car, so why add it to electric drives? The Hybrid IS an electric drive at zero speed. However one can turn off the hill hold, just wish it was a smoother transition.
