IMHO DD offers the cleanest and most OEM looking fogs for the Maverick out there.

I left it in the engine bay. I have no interest in turning them on and off, just want them on with the headlights at all times

Just curious... Do they replace that whole lower fascia, or do they cut out the existing one. If it's a cut, it's an even better result. Looks sharp. 
You cut out the fascia to install them and they cover the opening you make completely. They are made to fit into the grooved surface and you end uo with a factory looking installation. Fit is very professional and you really can't mess it up. Just take care and follow the instructions on you tube. I have the backlits on whenever my truck is running and the fogs on when I turn on my running lights. I used my own on-off button. They are impressive and light up the front and sides extremely well. I would not hesitate on buying them. I doubt you will find a better working or nicer looking set. They may look small but produce quit a bit of useable light at night....esp if you are watching out for deer on the sides.

Mine stay on with the high beams unless shut off. Mounted a switch to the right of the headlight selector. Don't want them on unless I need them. Having them on with the high beams in fog/snow/rain is counter productive as they ruin the distance sight anyway.
You have officially earned my utmost envy. Glad to see DD step up for the Maverick and even happier to see members embrace the install. Gives others inspiration, confidence, and motivation. Oh, almost forgot . . . envy. lol. Seriously, it looks great and I'm sure it gives you more confidence navigating in difficult weather and/or road conditions.
