What I have found is the tailgate leaks as there is a small gap between the gate and the side of the truck. Usually only an issue when I park on an incline with the bed on the high end.
Friday we had clouds and rain, but the clouds thinned enough that a 30 sec exposure showed some glow. I included a picture of the sun showing the sunspots that were the cause of the auroras. When the clouds finally cleared on Saturday night I was able to get some deep space photography done.
As a lifelong collector as well (my dad bought my first Matcbox car for me a few months before I was born in '66) I have a fair size collection and still occasionally buy one when it piqued my interest. I saw this Lotus last week and bought it just because it looked so close to the Hot Pepper...
My truck sat at that yard for a little over a week. I learned to watch the tracker, I knew something was up as I was watching it multiple times a day. Any time you see the date change on the status (no other info changed), the truck has moved. I saw the date change, but no new info and I...
I will not get that mileage until I retire or have an extended period where I do not drive to work - 66 miles each way with a majority of it being hills and 65 - 70 MPH. I average about 40 mpg when it is warm. These cold mornings are killing my mileage (~35 mpg).
I also know my cap is bringing...
I would love a window like what you show. My largest complaint (not a huge one) is that I have no idea when the battery is charged enough to drive more than a short distance before it switches back to ICE. Yes the EV coach will show how much power you have to draw on, but that only works once...
The only frustration I get is trying to figure out when the battery has been charged enough to run in electric only mode for a distance.
I prefer slippery mode as you do not get the rapid slow down in Eco mode, but it also slows the charging rate down. I use the center console screen to watch...
I got the factory tailgate lock and the dealer installed it, incorrectly the first time. It put a big scratch on the bed where it rubbed while opening and closing the tailgate. I went back to the dealer and had them fix it. After a talk with the maintenance manager I had them buy some touch up...
There is a little tint on the front sides, but not much. I added 35% tint to all the windows. This is not only providing some additional darkness to the windows, but also provides UV and IR blockage. In VA you need a waiver for the front side and windshield tint, but since I have had skin...
My truck sat on the lot for almost 2 weeks before shipping. I think mine was the waiting for the turn signal recall, but since it had never officially been labeled "Built" it was not a recall. I guess it was just a calling ?
Updated with official NHTSA recall bulletin:
Saw this story on a recall for 2024s. A pinched fuel tank joint. Seems to be a pretty small recall and most likely Hybrids, but the article wasn't sure.

While I agree with all the people here about Granger/Flood for the Ford ESP, will your truck stay stateside or will it be shipped abroad? The Ford plan is only good in North America.
I was experiencing something similar. My drive to work is the most variable MPG. It is a 66 mile drive with mostly freeway. My MPG has ranged from 34 to 38 so far (have had mine for 6 weeks). The temperature has definitely been the largest part of the difference, but I have also seen differences...
