I had the same issue and found out that I had holes in the fuel tank. Ford recalled the fuel tanks on Maverick’s the spray-in bed liner. Dealer has had my Maverick for two weeks now and still no fuel tank. This is a safety issue so you will be in a loaner or rental until it’s repaired.Im getting 12.4l/100km which translates to 18.9mpg. Should i call ford?

I’m close to montreal and in the same condition as you i get 10.1l/100km. The only difference i can see is that i use 91 octane. If it explain the difference then i think it’s greatgetting 12.0L/100km in ottawa due to remote start idle, city driving plus extreme cold..
Curious how big/weight of that trailer ?I got about 9 mile per gallon towing a trailer into 45+ mph winds driving 70mph through wyoming back in December. 1500 mile haul was rough with those kind of winds most of the way from Texas to Montana.
I'm at just over 2300KMs on the truck since taking possession 3 weeks ago. And I've taken 3 400+Km trips so I think it's well broken in. It's also been bitter cold between -10C and -20C on my trips and I've seen between low of 9.6L / 100km (first trip) and 10.0L / 100km. Some of that variation is head winds and more of less use of cruise control depending on 401 traffic. I also kept it at fairly high speed (115 km/hr.). >80% of the Kms. on the truck are highway so the fuel economy is better than when its driven around town (10.0L / 100kms).Im getting 12.4l/100km which translates to 18.9mpg. Should i call ford?
I get lots of tanks with 16-18 mpg. XLT AWD. Disappointed and driving normal to light!Everyone's focused on the best MPG, so let's see what the opposite end of the spectrum shows... What's the worst MPG folks have gotten on 1 tank?
