  6. CACTUS GRAY Maverick Photos / Club

Love the red tow hooks. I was thinking of doing the same. Was it a pain, or relatively easy to do?
  7. Need Help Deciding - Sell my XL back to dealer or private sale?

Check Cargurus.com as well. They gave me the most out of Vroom, Carmax and Carvana for my Malibu Premier.....like $1000 more than the others mentioned. So much easier than dealing with a dealer, or private sale
  8. Maverick XL on 20" Wheels and Lowered on 2"+ H&R Lowering Springs

Looks great! Do the springs decrease towing and payload capacity? If so, how much? Just wondering if something aesthetically pleasing is functional as well.
  9. Michigan roll call!

Anyone here take their Velocity Blue FX4 to the Lakeville Boat Access yesterday (4/26). Truck looked great, and it appeared to have a 18' or so boat trailer attached. Just wondering how good it does putting a boat in/out of the water? Nice truck!
  10. Bagged Maverick build updates

Excellent honor to the mini-truck scene of years past. You pay homage the right way to the trucks of yester-year, while carving out what's to come! Great execution, front to back, top to bottom, and everywhere in between. Hope to see this ride on the cover of some magazines as it is well...
  11. Camping above the clouds with the Maverick (on 2” lift, 245/65 Wildpeaks, ROAM tent, Xtrusion Overland XTR1 rack)!

  12. QuickPitch RTT/ Leitner Rack on Maverick XLT AWD 4K FX4

You are doing life the right way! I’ve got Colorado on my list of places to visit. Always wanted to catch a concert at Red Rocks, and visit Left Hand Brewery, as well as many other numerous places out there. This truck is opening so many doors to people outside of just being a mode of...
  13. QuickPitch RTT/ Leitner Rack on Maverick XLT AWD 4K FX4

Thank you for describing in great detail. I’ll admit, I was scratching my head a bit as well, but totally get it now. I live in Michigan, not short of great places to visit. However, none of them are close enough to the area I live in, so this would not have the positive impact on me, as it...
  14. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Dropped my truck off at the dealer for the first issue I’ve encountered in 9300 miles. Figured I’d have them do the recall while it was there as well. Looking forward to hearing what caused this fault.
  15. 1 Month B-day! 2718 miles down!! My review of my Eco, 4K, Lux, FX4, Cactus Gray

If you think 2700 in a month is high, how about 9308.9 miles in just shy of 3 months? I have two young kids in competitive sports that require extensive travel. The funny thing is, I work from home, so I don’t have a commute for work. When you live 20 miles away from your kids sports and about...
  16. 1 Month B-day! 2718 miles down!! My review of my Eco, 4K, Lux, FX4, Cactus Gray

Appreciate the kind thoughts on the review! Thank you for your advice as well. I think I will either go Yakima hitch mount, or go with the above bed bars so I can still use the bed to haul all our luggage when we travel.
  17. 1 Month B-day! 2718 miles down!! My review of my Eco, 4K, Lux, FX4, Cactus Gray

I have cross traffic alert, but not backup sensing. The first morning after I bought it, I backed up into our recycling bin. I anticipated it would alert me, but it didn’t. I guess only the Lariat trim has that
  18. 1 Month B-day! 2718 miles down!! My review of my Eco, 4K, Lux, FX4, Cactus Gray

Bingo! Can’t wait for Top Gun 2! I’m sure the quote will come up again in the sequel….I hope!
