SPort mode from a stop is impressive. Passing cars I'm usually over 70 by the time I'm passing and holding at 65mph up a 7deg grade for 20 miles getting about 17mpg

If you're on a long hill set your cruise control and it will try to hold close to that speed. The engine won't wind up like if you don't do it that way. I do this on my Hybrid

I actually ordered the silicone cover that was mentioned in other post and use it now and will use it when I get the new steering wheel.

Just saw this but I took the truck into the dealer for the recalls and to look at the wheel. The told me the new steering wheel was on order.

well it's inspection, recall time again so I'm gonna have the dealer look at it.

It also dries out your hands which is another reason to stay away from it.

Hawaii island, average speed is 45mph. For the last 34,000 miles my average is 49mpg. I drive in normal mode 99% of the time. I'm sure if I lived on the mainland those number might be a little lower but I've trained myself to keep the needle under the first mark and run on battery till it needs...

Has anyone else noticed this wear on their steering wheel. I don't have greasy solvent hands and it's only at the 10-12-2 location. I dont live in a hot sunny location either.

Picked up on Good Friday 2022, currently 34,475 miles and I haven't even left the county. Daily driver 40 miles a day. Computer mileage @5k miles 50.3, calculated a few times at 49mpg. This is my first hybrid and I love it!

I get 79 on my morning commute, mostly downhill over 20 miles on school days at an 30-40mph.

That's a 35mpg ave with the 16.5 gal tank too. That's pretty good for the gas engine
