I agree with most of the responses so far. The ONE thing I would ask for is a more comfortable driver's seat. I'm about 6' 230, but I have disproportionately long legs and arms. Think of an orangutan's arms and giraffe's legs on an average fat guy's torso and ass. I would like the seat to extend a few inches forward and be able to tilt the front up/rear down and be a little softer. Also, the seat should be able to move back just a few more inches. I ride kinda like you're in your lazy boy if you feel me.
I wish the truck would remember your drive mode settings after turning the vehicle off. Also don't like the start-up pop-up messages on the front display unless someone knows of a way to turn these off.
Tailgate with a step. Plug-in hybrid version for $3000 or less upcharge.

Howdy RadioDoc,Thanks for the welcome! Funny thing though, I'm not a Brit lol. Military stationed in the UK, got my Maverick off Military Auto Source with a bit of luck and the right timing. Couple other Mavericks floating around, I think I have the only 2023 over here currently. Lot of fun driving a US spec truck around these narrow UK roads, just glad it isn't bigger like the 2013 F-250 Crew Cab I drive around in at work (that truck challenges the local lorries for overall length).
Mavericks look a lot like the UK Rangers.
Are you stationed anywhere near Salisbury? I was born there and have lots of relatives around that area as my mother was in the WRAF when she met my dad who was in the US Army.

I did, now coffee tastes like crap. Wasn’t able to force myself to drink that 5th cup.
5 foot bed would be what I would want. So many things I have carried have been a few inches to long and I needed to have the tailgate down.

Fix door storage, so my coffee mug and other necessities will fit. Add front parking sensors and auto dimming mirror at least on lariat lux. I was really surprised that my lariat lux didn’t have them.

A radio thay doesn’t suck so bad! I use apple car play with a wireless adaptor, but it freezes and needs to be reset occasionally. When that happens, it’s really annoying.
It’s not the adaptor, I’ve used 2 different ones with the same issue, I have to hold the power and play button to reset the radio and all is well.

Keyless Entry.
Hopefully get mine soon after xlt hybrid july 10 build date. BUT ONE thing which I will miss that current vehicle has Keyless Entry. I never remove key fob from my pocket now. I will Miss that. So ALL models should have that.

Most certainty the radio/infotainment system. All audio software updated and FM reception is still terrible (live in metro Detroit and never had a problem with FM radio reception in any vehicle I've owned). There is absolutely no fidelity or bass. I understand the price point of this truck and not going to have a killer sound system, but seriously it is 2023 and no excuse to have it sound like its from 1982. Its a huge annoyance and not really a problem. Sound system can always be upgraded. Other than that its been a great truck.
