ok let's all pretend we're in the room with the next Maverick cycle refresh team for a moment and they give you ONE thing on the next truck that you can change/remove or add...what would it be? 1st thing i would say is that they did good with our beloved little truck but there's always room for improvement. i don't mean your whole 'wish list' , just that ONE thing or feature that Ford should consider next, i know there's a lot more that we would all like but that's for a different thread. my biggest beef is having to reset the drive mode EVERY time i restart the truck, it's just asinine IMHO. i mean really how much would the chip or circuit that could retain the last selected drive mode add to the MSRP? i know it's only 4 quick button clicks but why not just be able to choose a driving mode you like and then go on with your life? what say you? i think we could do ourselves and Ford a great service here with our feedback as we are what i believe is the preeminent online Maverick truck community, if they pay attention to us we could actually have a impact on the next Maverick, how cool would that be?

Honestly the transmission it just doesn’t feel smooth enough. Thinking of asking ford to look at it or find something off another ford to put into it.

A split fold, 60/40, rear seat... both the seatbench and the seatback.... so you can access stuff underneath and behind without moving car seat... At least put this on the XLT and Lariat...

Move the back up camera next to the license plate where it will be protected from most elements
rain and snow distort this too easy

Let's start with everything as-is just works as-advertised for the foreseeable future, no question about it.

Don't shoot for the moon if you can't even get off the block without breaking down.

I sold my Maverick this week. Zero confidence in the product or Ford. If I could expect it to work like it did from day one I would be a life long fan, but I didn't have that expectation. I don't participate in Beta tests with my own money on the line.

Now it's on to Toyota. I will buy a N.A. 4-cyl or 6-cyl Tacoma and drive it until the wheels fall off, I could care less about the mileage it gets as long as it still runs 20 years from now.
Can we look forward to you permanently leaving this forum today?

I sat in someone else's Lariat the other day on the lot. No complaints on the interior quality. But I think what may indeed cause me to walk will be the size. My wife commented her Escape feels more roomy despite the numbers being about the same. And the backseats are a concern for my 6'1" 13-year-old.

So, mine would be the truck being about 10% larger. But it is otherwise a good size as I've had to use a step stool to load the loaner F-150 for camp.

Push button start.

I used to think it was a gimmick until I used it. Once you’ve had it, reaching in your pocket for a key is a noticeable hassle.

How much can this cost the manufacturer? $100?

Isn’t 10% larger called a Ranger?

A modern infotainment system. It's ridiculous that a vehicle marketed towards "the kids" has such a primitive system. It has to be the worst of any car sold in the US

Couldn't get rear parking sensors on my XLT, but offered on fleet vehicles...so stupid
Yes. It makes no sense to have cross traffic sensors but no back up sensors

Ranger is closer to 50%. I'm not talking a huge difference; maybe two to three inches. But a tad more room might make it more comfortable.

Make a good quality electric driver's seat with a lumbar bladder available in every trim levels.
