Fake engine roar coming from the speakers during hard acceleration.

And, more is not always better. I haul plenty with my little (sort of) Mav.My pet peeve is people expecting 70k trucks at 30k prices.
Hmmmmmm, what?Fake engine roar coming from the speakers during hard acceleration.
Yeah, 2025 Tremor with 2.0 ecoboost. It's called Engine Sound Enhancement. Supposedly can be disabled with Forscan. Was impressed when I floored it first time to pass a slowpoke Prius... until I discovered it was coming from the speakers, not the engine.Hmmmmmm, what?
I agree with you on the driving choice staying wherever you set it, would be nice. I was driving in ECO every time I drove it at first, but I found that the vehicle was constantly going into deep sleep mode as soon as I'd turn it off. This was worse in the cold weather. Dealer said to take it for a long drive. That appeared to do nothing, because I was in ECO all the time. The twelve volt battery was not getting enough charge on the long drives as long as I stayed in ECO. I drive in normal now most of the time, and it seems to be charging the battery now. Has anyone else experienced this issue?Very little. Got spoiled with our primary car being an EV. Our secondary was a Kia Soul that we put on about 4k miles a year (whomever drove less got it) and the Maverick replaced that. Enjoying the Mav more and driving it a bit more, and it's not quite the "3 is mine, Kia is hers" but we both drive the truck, so now we have a native Floridian pumping gas in 3 below snowstorms this weekend here.
Other than that being able to set a drive mode for multiple drives. If I select eco, I wish there was a setting where you could turn on that it stays in that setting until you choose something else even after it's shut off.
