This. My daily commute is exactly like your example and the only time my ice kicks on is to charge the battery or merge onto the highway. My drive home today posted 71mpg over 24 miles and I wasnt even trying to hypermil it. However, that 24 miles took me almost two hours of sitting in...
Searched the forum but could not find any similar issues but my phone controls (Answer/Hang-up) on the steering wheel have stopped working. They still work for searching radio stations and skipping music tracks but when I'm trying to answer or hang-up a call they do nothing... I've rebooted...
I cant believe Ford has not fixed this at the production level yet. My 22 was torn apart multiple times for almost three years before they found the leak. I thought Quality was job 1?
Yep, this is exactly what I want to see. I've had no problem towing a 3,000lb trailer up to 8,000ft with my ecoboost but I'm really worried the hybrid is going to be a dog in the hills.
It could be the cowl but in my case it was the rear window. It took me two years and four trips to different dealers to figure it out. They had to replace the entire rear glass and re-seal everything but apparently it's tight as a drum now.
They also replaced all of the carpet and padding all...
This is my "go to" wax. It's super easy to apply, doesn't discolor the black plastic and last a loooong time. I live in Los Angeles and all the pollution is super hard on the paint but this stuff will last up to six months with one application and will still bead water.
Just a word of advice...
Thank you so much for posting this. I've been trying for the better part of a year to get my dealer to find my leak and they just keep sending it back. Ford needs to put out a service bulletin covering this issue.
I read a story about a Rivian getting into a fender bender and it cost close to 50K for repairs. I cant imagine how much it would be to repair one of these things.
Oh I am so sorry Im just now reading this!
No, they have not been able to find the source of my leak and pretty much told me to go home and bring it back if it happens again.... We dont get much rain out here in SoCal but I'm going to be checking every seal on that truck if we get so much as a...
Total weight of the camper was probably around 3k wet. Gear was probably another 200lbs with two adults and one big dog so let's say total trailer and gear 3600lb.
The Mav really impressed me on a huge downhill 8% grade. Tow package kept me in high gear so I only had to tap the brakes...
Man that gave me a bout of anxiety seeing that! I just got back from towing an Airstream Basecamp up to 7K feet and was sweating it on a 8% grade on the way back.
First time I've used the tow package and man I'm impressed as hell. Didn't even know the camper was there half the time and ended...
Same here. Been to the dealer three times for multiple days at a time and they've found nothing. Praying for a recall at this point or I'll sell early.
Shame, I absolutely love the truck.
