  1. 10K, 1 year ownership Hybrid Lariat, Accolades & Complaints

Didn’t know that about discontinuing the one touch up/down. Also global open on remote would be a great feature. What I’m glad Ford has stayed away from is having a ā€œRearā€ switch to control the rear windows with the only 2 window buttons… all to save 1 button overall. Lots of Euro brands Benz...
  2. 10K, 1 year ownership Hybrid Lariat, Accolades & Complaints

Couldn’t agree more. Hope you can post your mirror install when complete. Thanks.
  3. 10K, 1 year ownership Hybrid Lariat, Accolades & Complaints

Yes! Thanks for the reminder regarding HomeLink 🤯
  4. 10K, 1 year ownership Hybrid Lariat, Accolades & Complaints

Yes exactly! I added rain sensing / auto wipers too 🤯. We can’t even option these. I’m just one of those people who love all the gadgets and options and if I’m able to- I’ll happily pay for them. I know it’s a lower tier truck in the lineup but some of these options should’ve be available. Our...
  5. 10K, 1 year ownership Hybrid Lariat, Accolades & Complaints

Exactly one year since August 2025 purchase, we recently crossed 10K miles in our 2025 AWD Lariat Hybrid. We custom ordered ours w/ sunroof, rear sliding window, red paint. All options pretty much. Here’s a quick rundown of our experience: I’ll also note this has been a true mixed use of city...
  6. Vehicle purchase hacks & tips here; it's long but detailed

You sound like my long lost brother šŸ˜† I have purchased over 20 vehicles in my life, all but 3 from dealerships. I too love ā€œthe gameā€ and I really love when the sales team, like the manager or salesperson, breaks the wall down after it’s all done and tells me (genuinely, off the record type of...
  7. Hauling riding lawn mower?

I think y’all talked me into a little trailer.
  8. Hauling riding lawn mower?

Can you lift these or need a ramp?
  9. Hauling riding lawn mower?

EDIT / UPDATE Thanks Mav. fam for the input and advice. Well, I went an entirely different route after thinking I’d get a little trailer. Our Lowe’s here in Colorado applies our state’s clean-energy lawn tool rebate, which I completely forgot about, right off the top now. Making this new 30ā€...
  10. Safe to leave a key fob in the truck?

I’ll take my liberty > temporary sense of safety.
  11. I bought a 2026 Lariat Hybrid last week and I have a few thoughts and questions about it

Get a light tint on the front windows. It really makes this color pop, in my opinion.
  12. I bought a 2026 Lariat Hybrid last week and I have a few thoughts and questions about it

hey twin! My only complaint about the truck are these non perforated and non vented seats can get hot during the warm season and lack of features for the highest lariat trim I always switch winter/summer tires and personally like the BFGoodrich Trail Terrain tires. They are great for everything...
  13. Safe to leave a key fob in the truck?

I do this. Our Lightning had phone as key, so why would the highest trim Maverick have it? Anyway, keep a fob hidden, then I have the app and securekey pad installed (also now missing from lariat). People say what if someone steals your truck…. Well, call the police and find it in the app lol...
  14. Fold down rear headrests (from F-150) installed in 2024 XLT Navy Pier interior

Wonder about the front. OEM seem to point too much forward
  15. Anytone AT-5000 Compact CB Radio (with SSB) a great fit for Ford Mavericks

Fun stuff. When I was a kid I’d always do ā€œradio checksā€ on my uncle’s CB. They were really fun to listen too. As were police/radio scanners before they locked us out.
  16. Hybrid vs gasoline

I don’t get the point though. No one calculates a hybrid’s MPG or efficiency on what just the gas engine produced. You don’t say a smaller hybrid engine is less efficient on its own vs. a regular (EcoBoost) because that’s not how it operates. Sure bought gas for all 7,900 miles… but that amount...
  17. What's your Maverick hauling in the bed? [Photos Edition]

On today’s episode of hauling sh!t for the in-laws… Railroad ties! šŸš‚šŸ›¤ These suckers are heavy!! Not as much as I thought apparently. Weigh in/out at landfill was only 400lb difference.
  18. Highest elevation your Maverick has climbed to?

I really miss this instrument cluster. It had a great look.
  19. Highest elevation your Maverick has climbed to?

I see Mt. Blue Sky (Mt.Evans) is re-opening. I’d like to take the Mav up there to test it out… and haven’t been up there for many years.
