most of the demand for new tech is for stuff that I look at and say 'why'? Yeah there are lots of safety features available (lane centering, etc) but I haven't had a prob staying in my lane for 52 years, why do I need/want to pony up extra $ for that? Glad stuff like that is an option but yeah you're right if/when it becomes standard equip all it does is jack up the price and cater to a relatively small audience.
