OK boomer, me too. Love the lobo also but just a very few, well-chosen aftermarket accessories for me. And maybe a new screen before long. Only have 14K on my '22

I find it interesting us boomers are the highest percentage. I think it has to do with the low initial price point when the maverick first came out.i know that 19,995.00 price peaked my interest when prices have been going so high.i paid 75 bucks back in the 70,s for a running 10 year old olds cutlass.Hi all! Let's see what age group is gonna buy the Maverick the most!
Oh the good old days. I also bought a 73 Plymouth satellite from a Ford dealer in 77 for 395 bucks. A 4 year old vehicle now would be well over 30 grand! Put dual cherry bombs on it and it sounded great. That cutlass? Had a noisy lifter which a buddy fixed in my driveway for 30 bucks and a 6 pack. Drove it for a year and sold it for 300A running 10 year old Cutlass was rare back then. I paid $100 for a 71 Torino in 76. The reason this boomer was interested wasn't the low initial price but instead the low entry position of the vehicle. My 2024 Lariat was much more than the 21k initial price since transportation fee is NOT optional but still less than the 2023 Silverado Custom it replaced.
More like boomers are the only ones able to afford a new car. Goes hand in hand with all the flat tow posts. Didn't even know what that was until I joined this forum.I find it interesting us boomers are the highest percentage. Well, you got another.Well I'm the only 70 and up vote, so far. And happy about it too, considering the alternative.
Just get on social media, young people are buying new vehicles, campers ,boats etc. When we put 50 hp motors on a pontoon, these young people are putting 500-1000 hp on. The motors alone cost more than some houses I've bought. It's all relative I know but not all young people are struggling.I know many under 50 people who think nothing about getting new cars. Mostly leases but they will lease things I wouldn't pay the price for. If boomers are the only ones buying new cars how did they sell 16 million new ones in 2024? I know there are a lot of boomers but I also know many who are driving 10 year old cars. Actually most that I know are driving cars at least 8 years old.
No you aren't.Well I'm the only 70 and up vote, so far. And happy about it too, considering the alternative.
