Thankfully, no one has reported being scheduled later than 11/14 as of yet. *knock on wood*
Actually a few weeks ago I saw someone post an email with an 11/21 build week...

But thankfully I haven't seen any others, so let's hope it doesn't come to that.

It appears Ford is using the 11/14 date as " as long as it takes to build all the VINs". The 11/14 build week might stretch until the middle of December, building MY22 along side MY23!!
Hey, this is Ford we are talking about, so anything and everything is possible. However, I don't necessarily think that is probable. My understanding is that a given model year is typically wrapped up before commences Job #1 (first run) of a new model year.

Again, I'm not expert and anything is possible, but I would love to hear from someone such as @fordvideoguy who has been around a long time and seen many model years come and go. Tim, can you ever recall an instance where Ford produced two model years simultaneously on the same line?

I've been moved five times so far. Was originally 9/26 and now 10/31. It has been two weeks since my last push back so maybe this one will stick...??
I have been push back three times since September 2022.

It has always been said, "If you have a VIN, you are getting a 2022."

I'd say that is true. Until it isn't.

The truth is, we will soon be coming up on uncharted territory. Ford technically has 2.5 months to build remaining 2022s, so let's hope they are able to do that and none of us waiting for our builds ever has to learn what happens "if Ford can't build them..."
I got so much flak for suggesting that possibility on these forums a few weeks ago. Makes me nervous.

Given it is pretty easy to fake emails, might want to take those one-offs with a grain of salt. The polls are pretty clear 11/14 seems to be the latest so far. I'd be interested to see if there is a commonality between those scheduled for that week. Region, constraint, etc.

No, I haven't and they will not do that. I would see that they move back the 23 production launch a week to 11/21.

I had a build date of Sept. 15. Got pushed, been in production since October 6, 2022. I've never gotten an email from Ford about my truck. Called Ford on Monday and was told that it should be delivered by the end of the month if nothing else gets delayed.

There is no rule saying a MY22 can't be built in calendar year 2023 😆

Edit: Apparently there IS a rule.

I did an admittedly quick search and couldn't find anything definitive about the legal definitions for a model year. I've seen someone on here say that legally they can run a model you for up to 16 months. But I'm not sure that is correct.

Anyone know the law on this?

So I looked it up, and there's disagreement. The law says "the year used to designate a discrete vehicle model, irrespective of the calendar year in which the vehicle was actually produced, so long as the actual period is less than two calendar years."

The disagreement comes on what "calendar year" means -- so since production started in 2021, it may be (at least how the NHTSA currently interprets it) a requirement the trucks be built in 2022.

Thanks- that makes sense to me. I would read that they way you are. You can't carry on on a model year into a 3rd calendar year which puts a hard end to 2022 model year on December 31st.
