Ha! I live out in the Styx! There is no Uber here. Asked a couple buddies; no one can do it today. I have a friend lined up for tomorrow.

I could drive myself, but the dealership is an hour away, and then I'd have to leave my old vehicle sitting there and go back again tomorrow with someone just to get that. All of which makes no sense...

So, I just got a call that my basketball game this afternoon was cancelled! Talk about great timing. The dealer is open until 9 p.m., so now I should have PLENTY of time to get the truck today. Once my wife gets home with our son and we get him all settled in, she can run me down to the dealership.

Hope to post some photos for you guys by this evening...

Here's a couple of quick photos after I stalked it in the lot after it was un-loaded. I also slipped a note under the wiper politely asking the PDI folks to NOT drill holes in the front bumper for the license plate bracket...Once I start getting the mods on I will start a separate 'Build' thread...Good luck to everyone else still waiting on their delivery!

Glad to see it went smoothly for you. My experience with Koch wasn't anywhere near as smooth as yours. Hopefully they don't bend me over too bad with the loan rates when I go to pick up my 23 in about a month (or next summer, knowing Ford)
I had pretty regular communication with Bill over the 11 month wait, and I think by the time I finally got scheduled for production, he knew I was a VERY educated consumer. I could tell him all about price protection, interest rate locks, etc. I think he basically just knew that I would not stand for any funny business and they didn't try any.

Hey, maybe I'm flattering myself, or being too kind to the dealer. But honestly, other than the 11 months it took Ford to build the truck and get it to the dealer, I couldn't be happier.

Curious to hear more about how you were treated?????

Well, for starters, was quoted a 3-6 month delivery timeframe. This was in November when Ecoboosts were getting scheduled pretty regularly, with some similar orders from October already being scheduled.
After not being scheduled for three months, they were ignoring my phone calls and emails about why I haven't been scheduled. I finally went to the dealership after waiting six months with ZERO communication. (Mind you, they made me put a $1000 deposit down when I ordered).
I finally went into the dealership and spoke to Mike Hood, one of the sales managers.

He was extremely disrespectful. When I told him about how I was concerned about the current wear on my car, he basically told me that I could buy one of their extremely marked up vehicles on the lot.

I asked multiple times about changing my priority code, and every time they said no (Bill finally changed it after I called about your order getting scheduled, but by then it was too late).

Honestly, if you waited three more months and still haven't got your truck, while someone who ordered way after you did, I think you'd have a much different opinion on your dealer.

The only reason I kept with Koch is because of my 2023 order being prioritized, but there's a reason I haven't cancelled my Chapman order yet, even though my Koch order is scheduled.

Sorry you haven't had a good experience with them. I genuinely think Bill seems like a good guy. Never met or dealt with Mike Hood, but it's entirely possible my experience would have been different had he been my main point of contact.

Sounds like you are scheduled for production now, so here's hoping your truck shows up soon and Koch 33 honors all pricing and incentive commitments when the time comes.

Here's hoping! Ford already delayed me three times, but maybe I'll get lucky and get it in time for my birthday at the end of January.
