Would I buy my 2022 XLT Eco with AWD, FX4 and LUX for the OTD price I paid then ($31,300) and 0.9% financing? Absolutely.
Would I buy a 2025 at current pricing and financing rates? No way. IMO, the Maverick is a $25,000 truck platform. I think at $30k with some options it's OK. Beyond that, and...
Not gonna lie -- I plopped down my $50 for a place in line. Fully refundable and I can wait, watch and decide whether to order if/when the time comes. Not much to lose IMO.
Meanwhile I continue to enjoy my 22 Maverick XLT AWD at original pricing and 0.9% financing. It'll be paid off well before...
I bought my truck new and replaced the factory FX4 wheels with aftermarket wheels within the first 1,000 miles. The wheels are in great shape and have just been sitting in the shed since. Finally getting around to taking some photos and getting them posted.
Wheel size is 17x7 and bolt pattern...
That's a good name. That way when Elon Musk comes out with an aftermarket hyperspace drive, we can add them and won't have to change the vehicle name. :)
This link should work:

Personally, I would love to see this, especially if they offered an AWD version. If they offered one with the advanced AWD system found on the DS Badlands and Maverick Tremor, I'd actually consider trading my Maverick in on one. This thing could...
This is the same reason I don't worry about the lift on my truck, or the oversize tires, and the mileage those things cost me. My truck looks cool, the added ground clearance is useful to me for off-road purposes and I'm blessed to be able to afford an extra tank of fuel each month if that's...
Yeah, I take it off and it sits upright against the wall in my garage. It definitely takes up some space, but not too bad when vertical, as it's only about 15 inches tall.
OK folks, just did this today. Thanks to @BlackMav23 If you have the 6.5-inch cluster and use easy mode, here's what you want to do to activate speed limit sign recognition and not get the European circular signs.
If you are interested, the following worked for my XLT FX4:

That's a nice setup. I envy your MPGs. My tent sits much higher on my ladder rack, and while I do love the look, it is not aerodynamic and definitely costs me mileage. The up side is that I maintain a lot more cargo room in the bed, as the tent above and the storage units in the Leitner racks...
So, had some fun playing with Forscan this afternoon. Sure, the Maverick may have a crappy head unit, but at least you can make it LOOK like you've got something fancy going on...
Guys, I'm no audiophile, and I'm not modding my stock speaker system. That said, I DID use Forscan easy mode to simply change to the "Flat EQ" setting and IMO, it's a significant improvement in the overall sound from the system.
Again, as someone who isn't hung up on my vehicle's audio quality...
Interesting to see the Maverick market turning quickly. Just at my small, local Ford dealer, there are a handful of Mavericks in stock and sitting on the lot, from an XL hybrid for $27K to a couple Lariat Tremors at $43K. Other than the XLs, all are currently listed below MSRP, and with 2025...
Or just use Forscan to do the fix I described. I can always install OEM bulbs again later and re-activate outage detection using Forscan. It takes literally 1 minute.
Very little rubbing. Only very slight to the felt wheel well liners in front at full turn. You rarely have the wheels turned that hard except when doing three-point turns or U-turns at low speed. Also, zero rubbing in rear.
As to whether lifting is "necessary," well, no, it's never necessary...
