Using chat 2 days ago I learned my Maverick had made it to Portland via rail and was awaiting further transport with an unchanged ETA of 12/21 - 12/27. I emailed my dealer and and was told by them it likely wouldn't take that long to arrive. Imagine my total shock to find out this morning...

Just checked Ford chat, my truck arrived at the rail yard in Portland, 2.5 hours away. Still have an ETA of 12/21-12/27. When I ordered, my dealer warned me about vehicles sitting at that yard for weeks at a time awaiting further transport.

So, your brand new Lariat rattles? Is it a constant thing every time you drive it? This would drive me nuts, especially on a brand new upper trim level vehicle. These stories about fit/finish issues make me a little leary to say the least.

My dealer just verified my 30 day bump back from Ford, 11/21-11/27 to 12/21-12/27.

Finally shipped 11/7, new ETA 12/21-12/27. Won't be able to take delivery until 23 unless it arrives and is available on/before 12/22.

Not in my case.

Ford chat shows "built", awaiting shipping with no further details. But my ETA has been moved back a month from last weeks "built" notification of 11/21-11/27 to 12/21-12/27. I'm thinking my truck is parked in a lot outside the plant waiting on additional parts.

Anyone know if the plant being down next week is just production or does it affect shipping as well?

So, "built, awaiting shipping" can also mean "sort of maybe built". I already have a notification to install the latest Sync 3 update to a vehicle that was "built" 8 days ago.

Where did you get that from? Is released a step between built and shipped? Is there such a thing as built, but unreleased?

Keep in mind patient ones, getting built is only half the battle, waiting on shipping is just as bad as everything else with Ford's crappy production process. I hope mine doesn't turn into one of the trucks parked in a lot somewhere waiting on parts even thouigh it's been "built".

FWIW 10/18 invoiced and window sticker available 10/23 "in production" even though my build date was 10/25 10/27 modules started to populate 10/28 built 10/29 email from Ford confirming built status 11/02 still not shipped

Mine shows SIBL and that's what I'm expecting to see.

I got the same email, looks like our trucks will be travel partners.

20 days in production, more hurry up and wait.

Mine has been in production for 4 days now.

Production date 10/25 according to Ford chat a few weeks ago, invoiced and window sticker available on 10/18, build status is "in production" since 10/23. Delivery ETA 12/30-01/05

Any more info on your situation? Have you been given a timeline by the dealer?
