It's a load index 100 tire. You could have 4 of them on and still be within the GVWR of the truck.

A simple solution would be to get an inexpensive tire that matches the size and load rating of what's on your truck. I got the full sized spare option because the rim alone would cost about $100 new and I didn't want to mess around buying aftermarket and having to dispose of the doughnut spare.

Just checked mine, steely with donut. Looks brand new. Been on the road since mid April. Hope I never need it. Looks to be a pain to drop.

I bought a full size XL wheel and tire from the classifieds. It's a tight squeeze but it fits.

Technically it is a "full size" tire on a regular size steel rim. What it's not is an "exact same sized tire" to the other 4. I plan on swapping a cheapie tire same size as the other 4 onto the "regular size" rim. I may be able to get it discounted with a partial trade of the one it comes with.

Captain, read your tire pressure door sticker. The full size spare is technically a normal sized tire, it's just sized smaller than the other 4. I wonder what that does to the AWD system with mismatched diameters.

I understand that... but it is only to used for a spare in an Emergency... Its Imprinted across the tire.
