I use Top Tier Premium 100% of the time. I really don't drive a lot so the extra $1 per gallon is no big deal. I think I do get a little better MPG. So all in all it's a wash.
My wife and I just spent a long weekend at French Lick Resort in Indiana. We try to get there at least once a month. West Baden Springs is a mile away. Between the two resorts they have installed about 25 electric charging stations. Not one was being used. The place was really busy with...
I use Aero. I think about 20 bucks and they send a refill set along with the full set. Somebody on this site recommended them and I bit. I change out way too early but that's me. I'd rather be able to see out the windshield than see streaks. Easy to change.
Lobo much easier getting in and out than the XLT. Much appreciated by my wife and a good friend who has mobility issues. He had to sell his car a couple of months ago and it's not sitting well with him. I pick him up one day a week to go out to eat and he is grateful to get out of the house...
I too bought a new Vega in 1972. Orange. I think about a year and a half later I sold it, paid my parent's back and used the balance to move to Columbus. Three good decisions in the matter of a week after a bad purchase.
This truck may well have left the factory adjusted correctly. Sometimes the hinge bolts loosen after a time. My '24 XLT passenger door did, but it's an easy fix, but if it's under warranty, have the dealer do it.
Me too. Took my "24 XLT into the dealer for oil change and tire rotation and ended up buying a '25 Lobo. Watched "Motor Week" this past weekend and saw the exact same truck being reviewed. They loved it. So bottom line is that oil change, prepaid earlier, ended up costing me $9000. It had a...
Ditched Conti's @ 15,000 miles. Put on Defender 2's. I think it was worth the price. Better ride, handling, and mileage. Road trip went up to 32 mpg. Should be the last set I need for my '24 XLT.
Thanks for the tip about heat. I'm moving mine from rear door pocket to the bed. Years ago I saw another contractor have a can of expansion foam on his dashboard of his truck. It actually blew up and filled the entire cab. Needless to say it totaled the truck.
Thanks for the info for the engine cover. I like it. Probably going to order to complete a shipment from Amazon. Not so fond of the felt fender covers. Look to be dirt catchers and heat blockers.
Nice truck. I keep thinking I'll do the same but my '24 is a good fit for me. I
'd hate to part with it. Still get good compliments almost every day.

Bought a blank spare for backup. Took it to 3 different key cutters and they all looked at me like I had 3 heads. They all said it took a laser cutter, which none of them had. One guy said if a small mistake is made in the cut, it could lock down your truck. Then it's towed back to the...
