I know I sometimes have problems doing that with my trim line phone.

I still don't believe the amount of members out there who take a picture on their phone and download it to a PC in order to post it on the forum.
We should post the number on that sticker at the top of each forum.

Okay randymeeker, under no circumstances should you remove the heat shield from the farocoupler, on account of what @oysterville posted above.
Experience is the best teacher, but you'll only get to experience that once.

Don't forget to disconnect the disgronificator and move it slightly, to the right before attempting to remove the farocoupler.

so assuming this is the mabett product I didn't think the instructions were THAT bad. if you actually look at the pictures while you are under the truck everything is fairly clear. without doing this I can see that it might be tricky.

And within four minutes I just took a screenshot of what you posted.
Cropped the screenshot and posted it.
While seated in my niece's driveway waiting for her to home from the airport so I can drop off her dog.
I got a camera, computer and more at my beck and call in my shirt pocket.

One must possess mechanical aptitude and be able to follow directions.
Perhaps the OP falls a bit short in that department.

My signature when I send email says Sent From My Rotary Phone. I actually had someone ask "how do you type on a Rotary Phone. " I had no idea how to respond.
In the 70's I programmed an IBM 360 mainframe running 3 multitasking partitions with time activated supervisor exits to dial up a teletype with punched paper tape feed to upload tanker truck load data. Sped up product billing by several days which was due 10 days after billing date. The interest on the $$$$ for hundreds of trucks per day was significant. Most stations would have the gas sold before the bill for the truckload was due as the load data had to be mailed to the billing office. Learned that first class mail in a white envelope with the green triangles instead of of brown envelope could be several days faster as brown envelope with first class postage could get mixed with lower priority mail and take days longer sometimes. My smartphone today is much better than a 1970's IBM mainframe.
