oh dang, sorry! I looked and missed the post. I have a cheap BT scanner that I think is that type so maybe that app will work. I'll check it out, thanks!
I'd like to see them do it rav4/prius prime style. larger traction battery with more output capability so more ev assist for a greater total HP on top of 40-50 miles of EV range. on my rav4 prime it's been fantastic and that thing is actually not too shabby accelerating in a straight line...
bought my 23 hybrid XL for about $23K out the door. not sure what the eco-boost would have cost back then. I don't think the prices had separated very much at that time.
I've never used this but is it the same button for eco/sport/etc? if yes, going in and out of N seems easier. I wouldn't want to be in slippery mode all the time.
really depends on your driving. do a lot of highway? no real hybrid advantage. do a lot of stop and go and lower speed driving? hybrid.
I rarely go on the highway so the hybrid is working out great for me.
It's quite a ways down and very low speeds are required. regen and engine braking will help but the friction brakes are going to be applied a lot of the way down.

I've gone up there the old...
I haven't specifically driven up any mountains or anything so only about 2000' above MSL. Best I could do around these parts would be to drive up Mt. Washington but my poor brakes going down....
