First time on freeway, new Tremor. 15 miles back roads, 45 to 55 mph, then freeway at 65. I drove as I imagine eco would be, no full throttle starts, no speeding (no fun). About a dozen traffic lights, tires at 37 psi. I’m good with that.

That's pretty great. Even if that was all downhill with a tailwind and going in the opposite directly you only pulled 23mpg you'd still average around 28mpg.

That's a worst case scenario - and pretty awesome still.

I did some research after your post. I was traveling west into the wind and the roads appear mostly flat but the trip was actually down hill almost 900’ In 40 miles. Driving in town church, grocery, grandkids etc. about 25.9. Still haven’t gone far enough to check the display vs actual.
In AZ where I live they don’t use culverts, they just have a dip in the road. There is a very deep one that I slowed to 25mph in my Z71 Colorado, the Tremor at 40mph was much more composed. The ride is softer but more controlled, if that makes sense.

I wont share anything specific but the Tremor shocks are pretty serious compared to aftermarket units, from the research I was able to find on Bilstein and others. I think Ford knew everybody is buying fancy shocks for their offroaders and wanted to get the Tremor right out of the gate. Seems like it could even be better than the Bronco Sport Badlands HOSS shocks.

I’ve been driving my Tremor since Jan 3rd with two road trips. The best I have been able to track is about 23 mpg with 95% freeway use. I drive typically 75-90.

Mileage drops off a cliff after about 70-75. That's not bad for that speed at all.

Road noise also gets pretty bad over 70 IMO. I was testing it out the other day and once you hit 80 there is an awful lot of wind buffeting that is very noticeable in the cabin.

Yup. Imo, the rubber seal on the door needs to be significantly thicker... especially in the top right corner.

back to fuel mileage I am seeing around 25mpg from my 2nd tank. First tank was more like 22mpg but temps were well below freezing with lots of warm up idle etc. I am in Colorado at 5000ft.

I am hoping to see maybe 10% better with warmer weather and the engine broken in.

driving was mostly flowing county roads up to 65mph with a little city driving and one trip up to the local ski hill.

Warmer weather here in CO today and a short highway trip seeing quite a bit better mileage. Was driving between 70-75 on the Speedo.

based on my last tank I think the dash reads about 1mpg high.

I have seen an indicated 28mpg also during country road driving when the weather was above freezing.

Experience so far says it is pretty easy to beat the EPA numbers under typical driving conditions if you drive thoughtfully.

My MPG numbers are about the same as yours.

Can some of the new Tremor owners comment on their real world fuel economy for us? Highway mpg is more important for me, and I’m trying to determine if I need to change back to an FX4 4k tow. Wasn’t expecting to see that 24 mpg estimate on the Tremor from Ford. Thanks!
I've got 987 miles on my Mav Tremor and it registers 26.3 MPG which is pretty accurate as I check each fillup. Thats 2 lane paved back roads with some town driving but not a lot of city driving. I live 10 miles from town down a 1/2 mile gravel drive way. I probably drive a little faster than I should on curvy back roads.

Wow. Some of these are really good numbers. I have not had the opportunity to do a road trip, but mixed driving only gets me in the 23-25 range. I have not yet seen a 27 or 28 average on the tank. And here I thought I was a conservative driver.
