The topper portion does not block anything when it is down. It retracts below bed rail height. However the tonneau attachment rails sit on top the bed rails.
Yeah stock tires right now. My lift has arrived. I just have to find time to install. Then the wheels and tires will get swapped. The fender flares make stock look too small.
I wonder if government nanny ever thought about letting people make their own choices and trust that they will make the right one for themselves? I guess that is getting to be a crazy idea with the way our collective intelligence is going…but it is a nice thought.
Regardless, this comment is...
Check local listings and never trust the internet.
While what you said may be true in some locales, it is not universal law-as you pointed out.
In my state, it will not be used to deny a claim. Because we are so plaintiff friendly, we even have a statute:
Sec. 12-603.1. Driver and...
I’m not judging the quest. Good and bad are relative and nothing is purely good or purely bad (in this context). If you feel passionate about getting people to wear seatbelts, you should carry on. The world need passionate people to advance their beliefs.
My policy does not have a “we...
I would like to see that contract language. I know of no case in which failure to wear a seatbelt was basis for insurance to not pay, but insurance is a contract. So I am sure it is a possibility if the contracts says so.
But I doubt that is the reason some are adamant about seatbelt usage...
Wow. Some of these are really good numbers. I have not had the opportunity to do a road trip, but mixed driving only gets me in the 23-25 range. I have not yet seen a 27 or 28 average on the tank. And here I thought I was a conservative driver.
As a guy who got rid of an ev when getting the Tremor, I agree. EV has too many flaws to be the ice replacements in anything like the near future. Evs are fun and interesting, but impractical in a lot of situations. They will improve with time, but the country still does not have the capacity...
Indeed. Agree. It does and it can.
Filters spend a great deal of their time bypassing. It is normal operation. I pulled a post from the same site which says that as well in case the filter manufacturers are not to be believed. But internet posts are…internet posts.
Regardless…this got...
I certainly agree with your description. All bypass valves work based upon pressure differential. But I think where we are apart is that I do not agree that a bypass means no oil goes through the filter. . When you start the motor, you are in bypass. Incoming pressure is high psi compared...
Oh I think they are constant bypass. A 51348 bypasses at 8-11 psi. There is going to be constant bypass due to normal operating pressure. That filter, which is the same for a Briggs twin, does not have the ability to filter all oil all the time. And you run more oil pressure than 11 pounds...
Maybe-but you never know until you sample. Sampling is the only way to know if your engine/oil/filter package is up to the task of extended interval. For instance, Amsoil is independently verified to run 25k in their high end oil. But if you have fuel seeping into the oil, it doesn’t matter...
Micron has everything to do with extended interval filters. Go look at their specs. Extended interval are not as fine for the very reason you say-avoid bypass. Bypass is psi dependent. The smaller micron the higher psi. So for synthetic-which is “clean” oil, extended interval filters have...
Boy, some of the hybrid guys would be doing 24-28 oil changes per tank of fuel at 25 miles per change! I guess I would be lucky…at only about 23-25 mpg, I would get away with just 14 or so.
I agree…as I said, sampling is the gold standard for extended interval. As far as filters, they are engineered different for extended interval. Different micron to prevent early bypass.
Sure, if you don’t sample that is a reasonable interval. But most of the time that is conservative based on sampling. Not that conservative is bad…better than going too long.
But I would not even go that long without a synthetic and XP style filter and oil analysis as you will likely be into...
