I don’t think it covers rattles after 12/12000 as I mentioned it to service writer at my local dealer twice and he’s not said bring it in to look at it. I’ve got an appointment for air bag recall so I’ll mention it again.
It absolutely does. How do I know? I've been to a dealer over 10 times to fix it...

There are some manufacturers that have that warranty policy and it absolutely sucks. Luckily Ford is not one of them.

Did you see the thread about the fix for those creaky windshield tabs ? Seems like it worked for a few folks...

Yeah, they fixed it. Then they messed up the dash, other plastic bits, etc. Supposedly it's all fixed now.. we'll see when I pick it up.

Welp. Dash is mostly fixed, but there's the gray piece that runs around the radio that they can't quite fix without removing the dash. So that's not happening because it'll never go back right. They gave me a few oil changes so at least that's something even though that's pennies on the dollar for them.

The rattles on the headliner are still there...but I'm done trying to get them to fix it at this point. I've got more of the warranty left and will take it in the next time I need an oil change, especially since I'm hearing folks are getting new headliners now.

They put foam in there. Doesn't work. Going in for my 11th visit since March.

I'm in $200 for a rental and around $150 for Ubers, and no fix.

Check out the airbag recall thread that just popped up...may be the cause.
Nope. Airbags are not the cause of rattle. Just picked my truck up from the dealership for airbag recall repair. I still have the rattle/vibration. Technician rode with me and listened to it. Will make an appointment and take it back in when Ford has pin-pointed what is causing the problem. I don't want my dash torn out and in the shop for an entire week until they know where to look.

What it ended up being for me was the alignment pins on the top of the windshield. And yes, that was unrelated to the recall.

I also had the windshield "ticking" sound coming from the lower right corner. I had the windshield removed and resealed. That fixed it for a little while, unfortunately it shifted the noise to the lower left side of the windshield:cautious:

Forget the windshield ticking sound, I’ve got a rattle on the passenger side dash that drives me up the wall!!!
