  1. Ford remote start and security perimeter module -- anyone try?

I have one on my truck, and have installed literally thousands of them at the dealership I work at. They work well and install easily. If you don't mind carry a separate one button key fob you can extend the range quite a bit with the antenna add on.
  2. Cheap/Easy Tachometer and Battery Status meters, plus many other functions, for your Hybrid Maverick

I use Forscan Lite on my android phone and it will show any PID data you can find, including transmission temp. Plus no annoying ads popping up.
  3. Folding Rear Headrests Installed

I put some headrests in my truck from a 22 Mustang. They're the ratcheting adjustable kind. It matches my XL interior really well. The only difference is the stitching from the mustang is a little different, but hardly noticeable.
  4. What's your Maverick hauling in the bed? [Photos Edition]

I have an XL hybrid. The camper empty weighs 1450 lbs when empty. The truck handles it quite well.
  5. Hybrid discharge issue

I have the same issue with my truck. My battery drain test shows .01 -.02 ah draw at rest, which is well within spec yet I regularly get deep sleep notifications and had to jump the vehicle twice in one week. Is there something you can check with my VIN?
  6. I added factory power lumbar support to my XL Maverick seat

I transferred the motor assembly on mine, it makes the job much easier.
  7. I added factory power lumbar support to my XL Maverick seat

Is the fuse blowing immediately when you press the switch? If so, I would check your wiring. It sounds like you either have a short or the switch is wired up wrong. The motor shouldn't be a very high amp draw.
  8. Rattle in the dash (a minor yet major annoyance)

Thanks for the time code, I'll check that out.
  9. Rattle in the dash (a minor yet major annoyance)

I also had the windshield "ticking" sound coming from the lower right corner. I had the windshield removed and resealed. That fixed it for a little while, unfortunately it shifted the noise to the lower left side of the windshield:cautious:
  10. I added factory power lumbar support to my XL Maverick seat

That's the part number I used and it doesn't look like it changed. It lists motor and lumbar adjuster under the other names section.
  11. I added factory power lumbar support to my XL Maverick seat

I used a couple of blue size speaker spades to make the motor connection. https://www.grainger.com/product/POWER-FIRST-Female-Disconnect-with-Copper-24C709

    Hello from Arlington!
  13. Anyone installed Heated seats?

I installed the Katzkin seat heaters in my truck. They were kind of a pain to install because of the amount of hog ring attachment points inside the seat cushions. It's definitely doable though if you're handy. The thing I like about it most is that it takes the edge off the cold during the...
  14. Where’s the (VSS) Vehicle Security System Module on Lariat located w Pics

As I said before, the antenna extends the range of the one button fob. It won't affect the original fob in any way.
  15. Where’s the (VSS) Vehicle Security System Module on Lariat located w Pics

What you need is KN1Z-19A361-A. The antenna your wanting to install only extends the range of the single button FOB that is another add on. The part number for that is JS7Z-15K601-C. It installs very easily behind your OBD2 port. It will not affect your factory remote start.
  16. What's your Maverick hauling in the bed? [Photos Edition]

I have to admit, that loader had me pretty nervous. Luckily he was quite good at his job.
  17. TSB 22-2493 issued for 2.5L Hybrid Maverick grabby brakes (at or below 6.2 MPH)

I can confirm the update fixed the brake issue for me. Last night I took the family through a very popular neighborhood to see the Christmas light displays. We were in stop and go traffic, almost all of which was below 6 mph, for almost 2 hours. I didn't get a single brake grab the whole time...
  18. TSB 22-2493 issued for 2.5L Hybrid Maverick grabby brakes (at or below 6.2 MPH)

I have done a few things to mine as well, none of which involved the ABS module. I don't think it's anything to worry about. In my experience dealers aren't just looking for a reason to invalidate a warranty claim.
